Dr. Ben Carson boarded a flight to the Middle Eastern nation of Jordan late on Thanksgiving to embark on a tour of Syrian refugee camps there on Friday, he told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview before the trip.
The tour–which Carson is taking so he can learn more about how to solve the refugee crisis by resettling Syrians throughout the Middle East, rather than bringing any refugees to the United States of America or placing more in Europe–means the world-leading neurosurgeon is the first 2016 GOP presidential candidate to tour refugee camps in Jordan.
“I’m going to be visiting some of the refugee camps and some of the hospitals and talking to some of the people,†Carson told Breitbart News in the exclusive phone interview on Thursday afternoon.

Makala (or whatever her name is) on CNN this morning saying it is too late for Dr. Carson to catch up on foreign affairs. Bet she didn’t say that about Obama. How much foreign affairs experience did he have when he was elected? Heck, how much does he have now? He’s a moron and doing his best to destroy America but the left still loves him.

Were it any other kind of tick maybe it would be ridiculous.
But visiting one of these camps is something horrible to see. You have to have a lot of guts to do that because you cannot forget what you see for years after that.
These camps are gruesome. This is human misery at its worse.
I admire him for showing the courage. Maybe some good might come out of this.
Wasting your time, Dr. Carson. You will never be in a position of authority to do anything about it

Arafat did this all the time for Hollywood and British Elite.
They never saw the sections of Israel that were being rebuilt after the war or communities where Jews and Arab got along.
It was always poor radicals who got the attention and the $$$

It’s damage control. Trump doesn’t need to do that. Carson hopes it will stop his poll numbers sinking...it won’t.
Isn’t the idea of housing these people in Jordan a sound idea? I thought Trump even spoke about that.....some kind of safe haven OVER THERE....
A last ditch attempt to get some foreign policy street cred. I don’t think it will work.
Why doesn’t he tour the poverty in Hawaii?????? This just doesn’t make sense.....
