Trump’s resurgence from general attacks a test for critics
The Washington Times ^ | 11/26/2015 | David Sherfinski

The Club for Growth thought it had dented Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s chances in Iowa with ads accusing him of being a false conservative, but the billionaire businessman has surged back to the lead in polls, showing a staying power that’s confounded pundits and fellow candidates.

The Club’s battle with Mr. Trump is shaping up as an early test of his campaign with little more than two months to go before Iowa holds its first-in-the-nation caucuses.

The best way to hurt Trump is for the media to support him.

At Thanksgiving dinner, we talked some politics. Usually a bad idea. But everyone, independent, dem, republican, conservative..there was at least one of each, plans on voting for Trump.

when’s the last time that happened?

Same here. We spent the holiday with majority lib/progressives. Guess what? Most are (all but one) supporting Trump. I was shocked, but gave thumbs up to hubby, when we left :-)

I think (most) everyone is sick of the direction 0 & Co have taken this country and see Trump as the one who can turn this mess around.

At our Thanksgiving table meal, with friends and family, Trump came up, I didn’t say a word, just listened, and you know what, people at my home who I would have thought would hate Trump or at least not vote for him, came out and said the only way to save this Country is getting behind Trump....

Well, I gave a big sigh of relief but didn’t say anything...then the discussion came around to me on who I thought would be the best candidate, now understand my daughter and S-I-L are the only ones in my family and group of good friends that know how deeply I am involved in the Trump campaign, so I opened, mildly of course, my full version of Trump and when I got thru, all of them, (I about fell off the chair) totally agreed with me...

So when I say, my whole family and good friends agree with me on supporting Trump that’s how it is!!!

I expect a larger landslide than Reagan had. People are fed up.

They still don’t get it...And in their ignorance they never will. A good portion of the public is just getting tired, including myself of all that crap coming out of Washington and short of an outright revolution is to endorse some one who feels the same way. Too bad Jeb Bush being smart in many ways but ignorant and dumb in othgers doesn’t realize if nothing else most people will not vote for him for th simple reason they don’t want a Bush dynasty, neither do they want some one endorsed and served up on a platter by the so called establishment or by whatever name they may go by.

1. People know he says stuff from the hip.

2. No one really thinks he’s evil.

3. People dont like the press.

4. He tells the press to go to hell.

5. Most of the outrage from the press takes place on a Friday, before a huge terrorist attack, or in this case, a holiday weekend. We aren’t paying attention, and it’s forgotten by Monday.

6. People hate the press.

Unlikely. The commies have controlled the media and the academy since the 30's, but their influence has goten a lot more intense since the creation of the Dept. of Education in the 1970's. There may be a lot of people fed up, but there are also a lot of people craving government hand outs and a lot of people already dependent on them.

Here’s the thing about Trump the “fake conservative”.

The Club for Mexicans and the Cheap Labor Express are using their conservative “issues” to divide us.

Unless we stop the invasion what a candidate thinks about birth control, or how he prays, or what he thinks about boys with delusions is irrelevant.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump used his famous catch phrase many, many times. Entire departments might be cleared out, with a hearty “You’re Fired!” going to everyone, except for the people who matter (those who know where the keys to the supply cabinet are kept, those who maintain the office coffee fund, etc.)

Lot of Trump talk at my Thanksgiving table too. Other than a few snarky comments from the youngsters who get their talking points from school and Facebook and think they know it all, it was very positive. Trump got an unanimous vote from all those over 25 in my house today.

Trump and most American people hate the press because the Press hates Trump and most American people.
