The Washington Times ^ | November 26, 2015 | Lamar Smith

Posted on 11/26/2015 4:49:55 PM PST by E. Pluribus Unum

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is the nation’s leading collector of climate data. Every day, NOAA analyzes vast amounts of data to predict changes to our climate, weather, oceans and coasts. The agency also publishes monthly temperature averages across the nation and compares those numbers to historical temperature records.

The elites are hell-bent on global socialism. They ignore any facts.

Global average temperature anomalies (daily differences from normal) have not increased since 1996-97: Satellite Temperatures have been flat for more than 18 years now.

Well, we seem to have multiple US gov't orgs involved in sucking off the public teat to scam the public wrt CAGW - NASA (yep, the guys charged with shielding the jihadi's fragile egos), NOAA and to some degree USGS.

All of these orgs can and do provide great products and services to The Nation. On the CAGW topic though, they all seem to be in lock-step in soaking up resources flailing a Dead Horse.

Remember, 97% of "scientists" (actually ~ 76 of 80 carefully selected crazed wackos) agree with the scam while ~97% of Americans don't.

...hell-bent on global socialism.

Socialism sounds great on the surface. It has one, main shortcoming, however.

Socialism requires that EVERY, SINGLE person who partakes of the system MUST be scrupulously HONEST and take only what he is entitled to.

Ain't gonna happen.

Is there anyone, the least bit aware, that believes ANYTHING that comes from our Government? From the temperature, to how many people are working, to how our military is faring, to nearly any other "fact" the Government tries to shove down my throat, I have grave doubts about. Trust has crumbled during my lifetime, and the press is in the same barrel.

I fear for our future...

Ask them to point to the nations where socialism is working. Cuba? Venezuela? North Korea?

Obama has been caught changing the intel data to his liking. I so no reason why he would not have his guys change the temperature readings to like and support his version of climate change.

I'm not sure what you mean. This is an opinion piece by Congressman Lamar Smith. The Times probably just printed what Smith gave them.

NOAA refuses to give information to Congress which indicates they are lying. NOAA gets 4 Hillary’s.

They would say it's working in all those places.

They have a far different idea of what success looks like than you or I do.
