"Whiteness" does have its privileges and that is in the entire human population of the world.
In every society on earth the rulers and elite are lighter skinned than the bulk of the population. In deep woods Gabon it is no different. If an intelligent and talented coal black man mounts a coup or revolution or gets himself elected in his tribe or state he marries his children off to the lighter skinned members of his tribe or nation or society. If a businessman is successful he does the same. It is a universal rule with occasional exceptions but those exceptions are truly aberrations and are corrected in succeeding generations. It is not a racism thing. It is a skin tone-ism and it is universal.

Wonder where she lives? My $$ says some gentrified, liberal enclave which is 90+% white. And those token minorities that do live there have been thoroughly assimilated.
