Ankara: Turkey has moved 20 tanks to her border with Syria as tensions with Russia continue.

Military sources from Turkey said the tanks were moved by rail to an armored brigade at the western border with Syria.

Reports also say 18 fighter jets were sent on a patrol exercise near the border.

A military source told Turkey's Anadolu agency: "Accompanied by police and gendarmes, 20 tanks were sent by rail from Turkey's western provinces by railway to Gaziantep in the south of the country, and then redirected to the Syrian border."

The Caliph of Turkey is against Assad because Assad is not a jihadi?

One A 10 could take out 20 tanks. I don’t think this is anything more than theatre for the rubes in Istanbul and Ankara.

Knowing the Russians, they probably knew about the movement and could even tell you the serial#s of the tanks.

Me thinks turkey’s goose is cooked...

There's no point in Russia attacking Turkey. Turkey is 99% Mohammedan. They could never occupy Turkey in any meaningful way.

I think the Russians know a little bit about tank warfare. Just ask the Germans about Kursk.

If I was Turkey, I would beg forgiveness, even though Putin has been goading them.

A real American President would never have allowed this nonsense to continue in the first place and he would already have solved it by getting these two and us on the same Syrian game plan.

This is what happens when a U.S. President never backs up his words with concrete results. Too much bluster about red lines, too little direct action against an aggressive Assad.

Assad will be part of the Syrian government, no matter what. Putin will not lose his vassal, he will not let him fall.

It is time that Obama admits he blew his chance to topple the regime years ago. He must now grovel and scrape to avoid a serious incident and the need for us to come to the aid of the worst member of NATO. The Islamist Erdagon and Turkey.

The Free Syrian Army (Al Quada, Muslim Brotherhood) and ISIS, will have to be eliminated and Assad will once again have to be installed as the heavy hand of a secular Damascus based tyranny.

Once he is stabilized, all ‘refugees’ should be returned to help rebuild a secular Syria. All Refugees!

They will be under the protection of the U.N and Assad must care and pay for them. That is the price for his throne
