The woman who abandoned her baby in a Queens church on Monday was caught on video moments before she left the child in the parish's nativity scene.
She calmly peruses through the aisles and picks up what appears to be the very same towels she used to wrap the baby with before leaving him in a manger prepared for a church's nativity scene inside Holy Child Jesus Church in Richmond Hills.

Thank goodness Money was unseasonably warm here (global warming and all) and she wrapped the baby in towels.

She left the baby at a church in a manger. My guess is she knows the church and knew the manger was there.
Are we sure it was the mom? The picture looks more like the dad, I see a mustache.
Certainly disconcerting, but in the Mother’s defense, there are a lot of cases where infants are just dumped in the trash. At least she left it where it would be found.
I hope they don’t catch the Mother. That baby will be a lot better off if they never find out who gave birth to him. If they find the mother she can later sue for custody.
There is a law now you can leave a baby at a hospital or church without any legal ramifications - the intent of the law, with which I heartily agree, is for the safety of the baby. Instead of throwing your baby in a dumpster, you can leave in a safe place. The point of the law was to not go after the mother and I wish they would not. They said because she did not leave it with an actual person that she broke the law but good grief, she probably knew someone would find the baby.
We don’t know what’s going on with her, she could even be from a family where there would be an honor killing if she was found to be pregnant. I wish they’d just leave it alone.

A lot better than abortion, and I’m sure it’s also a lot better than that woman raising that baby also.
I hope the mother finds peace, and the baby lives a long happy life.
I agree withy you and my prayer for the baby is that by next year at this time it be celebrating thanksgiving with a good adoptive family that is happy for the little blessing they got this year. I also pray that the mother gets the help and supports she needs.
I can only imagine it must be a nightmare decision for the mother.
Ideally it would be nice if mother and child could be put together (father too?) to help them. (but that is probably gone.)

She’ll be hunted down and arrested for NOT aborting her baby.
And for leaving her child in a church, where it will more likely be adopted by a traditional, God fearing family, instead of an adoption agency that would be legally required to hand the child over to homosexuals.

The priest at the parish said that a family in the parish has been trying to adopt for some time. He hopes they will be able to adopt the little one.
