Turkmen forces claim they shot dead two Russian pilots
Turkmen forces in Syria claim they have shot dead the two pilots of a Russian fighter jet downed by Turkey near its border.
A deputy commander of a Turkmen brigade said the pilots were shot in the air as they descended with parachutes.
Alpaslan Celik, a deputy commander in a Syrian Turkmen brigade said: "Both of the pilots were retrieved dead. Our comrades opened fire into the air and they died in the air."
The commander was speaking near the Syrian village of Yamadi as he held what he said was a piece of a pilot's parachute. Last updated Tue 24 Nov 2015

Turkey is no longer a secular muslim country, the fundamentalists have been quietly turning it into a theocracy for years.
That said, however, I have zero doubt that russian planes were violating their airspace routinely after repeated warnings.
This whole thing is going to be a fustercluck. If Russia attacks Turkey, NATO will have to respond.... worse case scenario we can wind up in a hot war with NATO v Russia when the real enemy are the fundamentalist muslims that are enemies of both these parties.
I doubt it will come to that, but its insane that this is a possibility at all.

Well....laz, If I were in the mood to do it, (which I’m not) I would warmup my keyboard and give Trumpy a historical lesson in geo-politics and Russian history as well as the Turkish proclivity to protect their sovereignty and borders. (something most every country does with some exceptions)
But I’m not in the mood.
But if I was, I might also give a short dissertation about how global wars begin and have begun, and the fact that if one did, ISIS, Turkey, and the Muslim world would not even make the top ten issues of the day.
