For over half a century, American universities, with few exceptions, have ceased teaching and begun indoctrinating. In the past few weeks, this downhill spiral has accelerated. The university is now a caricature of an educational institution. It is difficult to come up with an idea or policy that is more absurd than the ideas and policies that now dominate American campuses.
The University of California, once an elite public institution, now circulates a list of “microaggressions” that students and faculty must be careful to avoid lest they engage in racism and bigotry.
Some examples:
“There is only one race, the human race.”
You read that right. The denial of the significance of race in favor of the primacy of the individual and the affirmation of the equality of all human beings — one of the noblest achievements of liberal Western society — is now officially listed by the University of California as a racist statement. It is a pure expression of moral inversion.
“America is a melting pot.”
The University of California considers this, too, a racist statement. Throughout American history the melting-pot idea has been an expression of America’s unique ability to transform people of every race, ethnicity, and nationality into Americans. It is now deemed racist.

“I don’t believe in race.”
Again, this statement — which is the opposite of racism — is deemed racist. In terms of the inherent importance of race, the American university is now closer to fascism than to traditional liberalism.
“America is the land of opportunity.”
According to the University of California, this is a “myth” that is also racist. It implies that some of those who fail do so not because they haven’t had opportunities to succeed but because of their failure to take advantage of those opportunities.
Meanwhile university after university allows students to take over administration buildings and even presidents’ offices. University presidents and other moral weaklings who administer colleges — a.k.a. leftists — never demand that these students leave the buildings they have illegally occupied. Rather they give in to just about all of their “demands.”

Thus the president of the University of Missouri was forced to resign for allegedly not doing enough about a handful of isolated instances of alleged racism.
The president of Princeton University has agreed to demands of students who occupied his office to consider removing the name of Woodrow Wilson from buildings and institutes. Wilson, president of Princeton before becoming the president of the United States, held racist views common to many fellow progressives of his time.

Protesters at Dartmouth College invaded the school’s library and screamed at white students studying there. According to the New York Post, “About 150 Dartmouth students this week protested in the school’s Baker-Berry Library, chanting ‘Black Lives Matter’ — and harassing kids who tried to keep studying. Oh, and assaulting them, too, according to The Dartmouth Review, which reported that protesters pinned one girl to a wall while calling her a “filthy white b****.”
Other chants included “F*** your white privilege!” and “F*** you, you filthy white f***s!”
The response of Dartmouth? An apology to the racist attackers: The school’s vice provost for student affairs, Inge-Lise Ameer, told the BLMers [Black Lives Matter]: “I’m very, very sorry that you feel this way. We don’t want you to have this experience here.” She said “the protest was a wonderful, beautiful thing.”

As reported by Newsweek, more than 400 students at Occidental College took over the school’s administrative building, “stating that they intend to stay until a list of 14 specific points relating to diversity and inclusion of students of color are met.” Occidental immediately agreed to 13 of the 14.
The universities, along with the rest of the American Left, have repeatedly told students that America is a racist society, and many black students now believe it, even though they live in the least racist multiracial country on earth and attend the protective cocoon known as college. Likewise, the Left has repeatedly told American women that the universities are rape cultures where they have a 1-in-4 chance of being raped.
So, the universities are imploding by their own doing. They produce aggrieved and angry young Americans whose primary identity is that of victim.
And there may be worse to come. There is little that produces violence as surely as does a victim mentality.
At this time, if you donate money to an American university, you are doing much worse than wasting your money. You are subsidizing the most anti-liberal, anti-American institution in America.
Race is not a biological term, but a sociological term.
That’s complete BS. If race is only a “sociological term,” why is it that DNA testing can determine an individuals race, as well as the admixture of other races making up that individual. How come an anthropologist can determine a persons race from examining their bones. How come a dentist can tell a persons race by their teeth. Why do organ transplants stand a better chance of not being rejected if it is done with organs implanted in a person of the same race, and even better results achieved if it’s done within the same ethnic group.
If you line up 20 random people, don’t tell me you can’t identify which race most of them are by just looking at them.
You’re not teaching biology if you are actually telling students this load of crap. No wonder students are so screwed up.

In that case, why should a parent spend $200,000 on a child attending college?
It would end up being more “Get your hands off her, you damn dirty....” but then I would be in trouble for using a racist remark and thrown off campus.

What "race" are the people living in India? Technically they're caucasian, as are the people of the Middle East. Race is an arbitrary demarcation as eye color or height. It is nothing except inherited characteristics, an invention of the 19th century.
Not the same thing at all. The domestic dog is a subspecies (familiaris) of Canis lupus which includes all gray wolves. There is one and only one species of humans that exist in the world today and that is Homo sapiens and it does not include any subspecies. There were other species of the genus Homo on the earth at one time, but they are now extinct. The following is a direct quote from the online version of Science and Nature:

I am not an anthropologist, but it is very difficult for one to be absolutely certain about the race of remains and it is also difficult for a dentist to do the same with teeth. As to your point about transplants, I am a Medical Technologist and have worked in a hospital Blood Bank. The race of the blood donor is not even known or recorded and the success of a transplant depends only on the ABO and HLA antigen compatibility of the donor and recipient. I am not saying that you cannot distinguish among the various races and that those differences do not have a basis in heredity, but the differences are not great enough for the creation of a new species. Biologically speaking (and in the eyes of God), there is only one human "race".

What you have posted is taken straight from Critical Race Theory. Look it up. Most of the same people who are also preaching Global Warming, radical environmentalism, microaggression, feminism, and the whole list of leftist causes, and belief systems.
I know for a fact you weren’t teaching this 30 years ago.
The Army Identification Lab in Hawaii processes the remains of GI’s who are just skeletal or fragmented remains, and they are about 99 percent accurate at determining the race of remains that sometimes consist of bone fragments or teeth. You can also look this up as well, even contact them if you wish.
Little story: Back when Critical Race Theory started, our local paper ran a very lengthy column by a Univ Professor proclaiming that races don’t exist, they’re only a “social construct” we are all the same, race is only skin deep, blah blah blah.
On the next page was a story about a black guy waiting for a kidney transplant. According to the article, Kidneys in particular are very hard to transplant between races, because the blood vessels in the kidneys of blacks are much smaller. The guy was waiting and waiting, because not enough blacks are organ donors. This was all medically explained in the article, including rejection rates, etc.
On the front page there was an article about how a human skeleton had been found in a road side ditch. A forensic artist did a sketch of a very Hispanic looking man, just based on his skull measurements. The article also gave an estimated height, weight etc. (the next day a relative came forward to identify the man, who was, indeed, Hispanic.)
Why do you think that the “choke hold” is not supposed to be applied to blacks? It’s because the choke hold when applied to whites results in a temporary loss of consciousness, and almost never results in death. However, the blood vessels in blacks are much smaller, and more easily crushed, and frequently results in death, although it was only meant to result in temporary blackout.
Anyway, Critical Race Theory believers are about as dogged as Global Warming believers. I suspect that you teach this theory because that is what you have been told to teach.
Sometimes this theory actually causes harm. Studies have shown that the gestation period for blacks is shorter than for whites. French doctors were advocating that pre-natal care be instituted about a month earlier than for whites. The Critical Race Theorists went nuts, and demanded that those doctors be expelled from their research labs, because to say that blacks should be treated any different is “racist.”
Yes, there is one human race (species) which in turn, over many thousands of years subdivided into various races(breeds).
Just like there are many breeds of dogs, cats, horses, etc, all of the same species, but with each breed having distinct typical characteristics, such as appearance, temperament, and intelligence.
One reason (besides the fact that the actual science does not support it) that I am so skeptical of global warming is that I remember in the early 70s when I was in undergraduate school we were anticipating another ice age. Paul Erlich had just published his famous book The Population Bomb and life as we know it was supposed to be over by 1994. Obviously, that was not true!
Of course, there are differences between the races and characteristics that are more common in one race than in another race, but, biologically speaking, the differences are not great enough to cause the species to split into different species. All humans have 46 chromosomes, 22 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes. A female is XX and a male is XY and no matter what Chaz Bono and Kylie Jenner look like on the outside, Chaz cells still have two X chromosomes and Kylie cells still have one X and one Y.
Since you do not know me, I don't know how you can make such blanket statements about me. I suspect that we would agree about much more than we would disagree. I am about the most politically incorrect person you could possibly meet and I think that Barak Obama has been the worst thing for race relations that has ever happened to America.
