TRUMP ERUPTS AT RNC: 'THAT WASN'T THE DEAL!': GOP elites plot new campaign to harm candidacy

A new campaign is underway by Republican establishment operatives to take out Donald Trump and ensure he's not the candidate of choice for the GOP - and the billionaire front-runner has taken to Twitter to call out the lead player as a "wacko" with few funding friends.

Trump described the operation this way on Twitter over the weekend: "A woman who got fired after two days of working with Scott Walker - a wacko - now trying to raise funds to fight me."

He was referring to Liz Mair, a brief former campaign worker for Walker's presidential push, who's now heading up Trump Card LLC. The Wall Street Journal reported on a memo that included Mair's expressed concern of "the stark reality is that unless something dramatic and unconventional is done, Trump will be the Republican nominee and Hillary Clinton will become president."

Trump's also firing a warning shot at the Republican National Committee about the effort to harm his candidacy, referencing the Journal's article and tagging the RNC's official Twitter account, @GOP, in his complaint.

"@WSJ reports that @GOP getting ready to treat me unfairly--big spending planned against me," Trump tweeted. "That wasn't the deal!"

In September, Trump signed a pledge not to run as an independent. He said at the time he was given the "assurance that I would be treated fairly" by RNC chairman Reince Priebus in return for agreeing to the "deal."

They’re incapable of pulling off the job, though — because they’re incompetent and utterly corrupt. Trump is making the GOPe the butt of a national joke. I love it.

The GOP was deeply ambivalent about REAGAN.

You know?

The GOP really is a clutch of scumbags.

They want to destroy the front runner. They’re not messing with a politician...they’re messing with Donald Effin Trump.
If they try it won’t be pretty.

If the RNC actively undermines him and doesn’t actively support him if/when it’s obvious he’s the nominee, I’d say he is no longer obligated to run as a Republican. The end result may turn into a viable third party that might supplant the GOP.

I have stopped answering ANY of their form letters, pleas for money and false claims that we have to stop Hillery by supporting one of the whacko birds the GOPe supports. Aint-a-gonna happen’ ..................
TRUMP all the way!

Trump needs to calm down a bit.

The BOTTOM LINE is that there is NO WAY the GOPe can take him down at this point - only Trump can take himself down.

Without a major mistake by Trump, the Primary Season is already over for the Republican Party.

(but I do like watching him go after Liz)

What Trump doesn’t get is that the GOP would be much happier with a 3rd party run than a Trump win. They’d get Hillary, ok with them.

What you don’t get is Trump would win either way.

Hai. They’d rather see President Clinton (Number Two) than to have Trump in the Oval Office.

...they’re messing with Donald Effin Trump.
If they try it won’t be pretty....

And, if he runs 3rd party, it will deny the GOPe
the Presidency. Historically, 3rd party candidates have not won either. We would have 4-8 years of H€LL with Hillary. That won’t be pretty.

Rinse & Repeat is going to look like something the cat dragged in if he tangles with Trump. The RNC/GOPe will also be cutting their own throats ... they pretty much already slashed their wrists with deciding Jeb! was their preferred candidate to cram down our throats & now, if they back stab Trump, it looks like they want to finish the job and end it all. Idiots.
