A man, who just two years ago was the poster boy for the Far Left media attacking the U.S. government's No-Fly list as unfairly targeting Muslims, finds himself and several family members sitting in a Turkish prison -- arrested earlier this month near the Turkey-Syria border as members of an ISIS cell.
It's a long way from 2013 when Saadiq Long's cause was being championed by MSNBC's Chris Hayes, Glenn Greenwald, and Mother Jones, and was being represented by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) terror front.

But that is the problem that Europe has, and we do too, to a lesser extent. Crack down, be suspicious, and some Muslims will become alienated and radicalized. They won’t clean house; they’ll blame the kaffirs. The harder the crackdown, the worse the alienation.

Let’s all feel sorry for the poor man cooling his heels in a Turkish prison. All he wanted to do in life is slit the throats and carve off the heads of trussed up helpless people. What a noble cause to sit in prison for.

Interesting points you make and tie in with Christiane Amanpour talking about a discussion she had with an old, “moderate” leader of a mosque (maybe in Paris?). He told her there’s no reasoning or talking with the young muslims. They’re all jihadists in their thinking and won’t hear of any other way. Even SHE was worried.
