This is a big part of what the University of Missouri and copycat racist crybully protests were about. Making racist indoctrination mandatory on campus not only provides jobs and entitlements for the crybullies, but perpetuates the cycle.
They got their way at the University of Michigan.
The University of Michigan has added a three-year diversity requirement to its Ross School of Business undergraduate curriculum that, among other things, will teach their students how race, gender and sexual orientation "connect to larger systems of power, privilege and oppression."
The classes, which include "Identity 101" and "Entering into, Engaging with and Exiting Communities across Difference", are mandatory for graduation and emphasize "identity, diversity and experience," said Lynn Wooten, associate dean for undergraduate programs.
Wooten explained that the initiative began with an effort by the Black Student Union who wanted to improve the racial climate on campus, and then others joined in their cause.
Here's the sort of stuff they'll be improving the racial climate on campus with... Beverly Daniel Tatum's paper from the hatecrazed "white privilege conference" which predictably spews intersectionality. The message is even more predictably about white privilege.
There are mandatory "reflection papers" to discuss your identity and confess your guilt and no "vague generalities" are allowed.
The Ross Business School is ranked as one of the top undergraduate business schools in the country, and was ranked 4th by U.S. News and World Report for 2015.

I am so glad my college days are long behind me. I wouldn’t last a day in this new totalitarian environment.
Just parenthetically and apropos of nothing, there are no greater racists on Planet Earth than Blacks.
If I were still in college I would absolutely refuse to sit through any class like that. I would have transferred before subjecting myself to it.

Me too. There is absolutely no doubt that I would have been suspended from college. Not because I was that wild, but because I was a normal 18 - 22 year old.
Your college Catalog is like a contract.
It will list mandatory classes, as of your enrollment date.
You should know, beforehand, what awaits you.
Therefore, don’t go there.
But ... if they add such a requirement - I agree.

That was my first thought too. I would not be able to keep quiet in these farcical classes and would probably get banned from campus for “hate speech” violations.
So students must now submit to the misbehavior of africans. Why is there such a thing as white flight?. Ans: when africans move into your neighborhood property disappears, if you are white there are no-go zones or get beat by 3 or 4 africans, have your kids lockers ripped open, and the incessant disruptions by ill mannered, stupid africans who don’t want to learn and should mostly have been held back for 2 or 3 grades. It’s white privilege to make good grades but relatively easy to outcompete the average african with an IQ of 85.
We put liberals in cages or they put us in cattle cars. Pick one folks. Eventually the choice will be made one way or the other.
But the choice WILL be made.
If the reeducation camps don’t work, they can always be sent to a gulag for advanced education. Flog ‘em until they understand how to be nice.
They really think that this kind of indoctrination is going to improve the racial climate on campus.
All these classes do is increase the size of the chip that black students carry around on their shoulders by reinforcing the mistake notion that they are treated differently because of their skin color.
It also makes things worse by imposing a reality of them being treated differently because other students will treat them differently by walking on eggs around black students. Then of course any student that does not conform to the norm of treating black students with kid gloves will be seen as rude and aggressive (racist).
This kind of special treatment of blacks is detrimental to blacks and society as a whole and must be stopped. It is further dividing our society and can only lead to greater destruction of the fabric of society. I see only more riots and death in the black community from this sort of social engineering.
One of Jesse Jackson’s sons was awarded a lucrative Anheuser-Busch distributorship; another was given a seat in the US House in a safe district in Chicago (until he was busted for corruption).
Just imagine how well they would have done if they’d just had “white privilege” to augment their apparent natural ability!
Online education will eventually correct this problem, and all other problems associated with government schools.
Job security for the racist/feminist/homo humanities professors.
Just one more reason my 19 y/o son refuses to go to college.
He’s had enough of leftist indoctrination and he’ll be damned if he goes into debt for his lifetime to get more.
I’m starting to feel like a college degree is not a litmus test for education-more like a litmus test of one’s politics.
I am currently going for my MBA and it is astounding what is “taught” in classes. If you disagree with climate change, you are a “denier”.
I speak my mind and let the chips fall where they may.
Isn’t Michigan the school that was sued over racial preferences?
