Well, actually, there ARE probably some innocent civilians in the area that are petrified of ISIS and just trying to survive. I’m not trying to sound like a left-winger, but just being realistic.
Well, I think we could safely call them “non-combatants” but they still may well be filthy supporters.
Ask any one of them if they believe in jihad, or if they believe Israel has the right to exist.
Do they believe in “kill the infidels”?
I just don’t believe that ALL of the people living in ISIS controlled lands are of the “kill the infidels” type. Yes, many , but not all.
I think we’re getting sidetracked on the profound philosophical point I was making that it may have to come down to situation where we decide:
“...either OUR innocent civilians or YOUR(ISIS, IRAN, etc) innocent civilians will get killed, so which choice do we make?”
At this point, I think it’s clear that our innocent civilians WILL get killed in the future UNLESS we kill the enemy and their innocent civilians as part of the package.
No, there are Arab Christians, and go-along-to-get-along moslems, who are often murdered by the "good moslems". I saw where another FReeper posted:
A radical moslem wants to kill you.
A "moderate moslem" wants a radical moslem to kill you.
I think that just about sums it up.
