How so? The Establishment forced him to sign a non-compete, then they basically said- unless there’s a chance you can win. Understand?

remember that JFK thing when a hit man blew his brains out in Dallas TX? IMHO, maybe not the individuals but the folks who ordered that hit are obviously still in control of the US government. If Trump does not capitulate and remains a threat to the establishment’s power and control, they will very likely do a JFK on him or one of his family members. That’s just how they operate, they don’t lose.

if trump goes 3rd party we lose.

the whole purpose of supporting trump is to overthrow the GOPe RINO leadership.

They would be more than happy to lose in the general if they get to remain in power.

Aren’t there also “super delegates” who can be activated to guarantee the establishment’s preferred outcome?

Only if the party is directly behind it. If it is just GOPE political consultants doing it then the party has no business getting involved to either support it or condemn it. No more than they should be getting involved to support or defend any of the other candidates. Am I missing something here? Is the Republican Party directly financing this themselves - that would be different.

You do understand this, right? Republicans say, “Don’t run against us and we’ll play fair... Unless there’s a chance you can win.” Get it?

Trump always said he would not be the one to break the peace. But if someone else did ...

Maybe the next pledge they will ask for from Trump is a pledge of amnesty for all congressmen who might be exposed for Gov’t corruption? Maybe then they’ll back him?

I agree with you. Assuming Trump gets on every state ballot, he could easily win. Voters are mad as *ell, and they’ll be even angrier if it’s hillary vs Jeb or a “plan B”.

It all depends on who is behind the attack. If it is just GOPE consultants than why is what they do the responsibility of the Republican party. Its just part of the campaign. Donald can’t expect that his opponents wont shoot back.

GOPE is massively corrupt and dirty.

Trump makes noise about it and he’s a crybaby?

He’s calling them out on their mendacity.

Why does that make him a crybaby?

Trump doesn't strike me as an introspective and/or humble guy that would fair well in our forum.

Trump's campaign is the only one that actually appears to have listened to, and responded to, the concerns of real Americans. The rest of the campaigns have had to back-step and side-step on numerous issues because of his poll numbers.

I don’t support the establishment. However, Trump seems to be trying to argue that he should be protected from political attacks. No other candidate has that immunity. Certainly Carson didn’t when Trump jumped on board with the Media’s libelous attacks.

Perhaps you should wonder why the GOPe would attack an enormously popular republican candidate.

To answer that is the beginning of wisdom, Grasshopper.

Hi guy.

The reason the GOPe wants to destroy their front runner is that he can't be bought.

There is president in presidential history were the candidate completely funded their own campaign. These days, that fact scares the establishment so much, that they will try to eliminate the party favorite. Sad.

GO CRUZ!

Who the GOPe won't except either.
