Ted Cruz has a Donald Trump problem: He’s waiting for a Trump collapse and that...

We still have not reached the Donald Trump inflection point. Since he first descended that ridiculous escalator way the hell back in June, the prevailing theory about Trump 2016 has been that he'd spike owing to name recognition, and then collapse under the impossible weight of his own outlandish ignorance. Trump spiked, but collapse just won't happen, and that's in spite of Trump's best efforts to make himself politically radioactive.

It's too much work at this point to create a comprehensive list of the Trump utterances that would have sunk any other politician, so for the time being we'll just focus on his reaction to the Paris terrorist attacks, which really brought out the authoritarian strongman inside the Republican front-runner. Trump is capitalizing on the growing anxiety over terrorism by recommending that mosques in American be put under surveillance and shut down if “bad things are happening” there. He's shown some legitimately disgusting openness to the idea of creating a registry of Muslims within the country.

Comments and policies like these deserve nothing but strong and unequivocal condemnation, and Trump is getting a lot of that. But not from everyone. Ted Cruz, Trump's competitor for the Republican presidential nomination, offered the gentlest of disagreements when asked about Trump's Muslim registry flirtation, saying he’s “a big fan of Donald Trump’s, but I'm not a fan of government registries.” Then he knuckle-rapped the media for trying to sow discord in the GOP field. “I recognize that the media would love to get me and other candidates to attack Donald Trump,” he said, "There may be other candidates who want to do that. I ain't gonna do it."

Of course Cruz...

That these commentators lack insight is one thing, but can't they count? The combined percentages of Cruz and Carson in virtually all polls surpass Trump's total. Thus, Cruz doesn't need to take down Trump, he needs Carson to continue to implode.

More misleading blather from the left. They are in total panic and confusion trying to figure out why their propaganda doesn’t work any more. It is joyous to watch them fall apart.

Carson has a perceived nut job problem. Hillary has a drinking, medical and lesbian problem. Jeb Bush has a Silver Prince Dauphin problem coupled with a boring ass persona. Marco Rubio has a liar’s sweating problem, blah, blah, blah.

When Ted gets concerned, then I might be, too. Until then, these transparent attacks mean nothing.

Someone pls remind the kids at Salon that Hillary doesn't think the world has a islamic terrorist problem.

The Democrat front-runner for her party's 2016 presidential nomination said Friday, "Let's be clear: Islam is not our adversary. Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism."

I am not a big Donald Trump fan, but if he keeps the Conservative Imposter Cruz from winning the nomination, he has my vote.

Why do we continue to get lectured by the (losers) liberal socialist media Salon about our candidates?

And, why in the hell do we waste our time and read this tripe? By now every American should know better, since nothing comes out of the liberal socialist media like Salon but, we hate America, wee hate republicans, we hate the Tea Party, we hate conservative Americans, we hate the US military, we hate Trump, we hate, we hate, we hate anyone who does not agree with our liberal socialist propaganda!

Please consider when posting from these American hating websites! There is nothing new about anything they (liberal socialist) have to say, and they sure as hell have no proven track record for accuracy!

Thanks my fellow Americans, and stay safe!

“Thus, Cruz doesn’t need to take down Trump, he needs Carson to continue to implode. “

... assuming all Carson voters - or at least the majority - switch directly to Cruz.

Probably not going to happen. Many will go to Rubio or other neutered, kind-spirited Lil’ RINOs.

That said, I think only Trump and Cruz have the capacity to change a corrupt government that needs changing.

I also think Trump is smart enough to keep both Carson and Cruz in the race.

Time will tell.

Like or hate Trump, I have never ever seen a POTUS candidate get as much hate as this guy gets on a daily basis, especially from some of the major newspapers in this country. The bias is just utterly unbelievable. For example the NY Daily news, without fail every single day they publish an article tagging Trump as racist. Actually multiple times a day, they publish multiple articles every day tagging him as racist and I’ve yet to see even ONE slightly negative one on Hillary. Look at this, once again without fail.........

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/king-trump-unapologetic-racism-breeds-dangerous-hysteria-article-1.2443866

This past weekend Bill Clintons rape victim Juanita Brodderick came out to bash Hillarys hypocrisy for saying she supports sexual assault victims when she destroyed Juanitas life after her husband raped her. Why isn’t THAT in the news? You can’t even find it unless you look it up and even then it’s only on a right wing website like Breitbart.........

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/11/22/exclusive-bill-rape-accuser-blasts-evil-hillary-shame-on-you/

The protection this Hillary gets is absolutely disgusting, utterly revolting.

Even the establishment pundits are starting to concede that Trump is not going to collapse (with furrowed brows and frowns upon their faces).

The corrupt ruling class is in a panic. Trump might actually win the Republican nomination and then beat Hillary! Their gravy train ends when an honest American not beholden to billionaire donors and super PACs occupies the White House. And their is only one candidate not beholden to billionaire donors and super PACs. Donald Trump.

Why do you call Cruz an impostor? I’m curious, as Rush said yesterday that Cruz was conservative, through and through. And is Trump more conservative? Inquiring minds want to know....

Cruz continues to watch the Trump Campaign with the position of a “realist”. Trump is a seasoned and proven CEO, a leader who makes assessments and acts in the benefit of the “shareholders”.

I believe Cruz knows and understands that Trump is a forceful enough leader to encourage the patriotic response. He cares little if Trump is viewed negatively by the media.

My prognostication?
If Trump stumbles politically (likely) or walks away from his campaign (unlikely), Cruz will fill the vacuum and do so admirably.

I don’t see Cruz declining the invitation to be VP as that appointment , in his assessment, would solidify ^up to^ 16 years of conservative (not Republican!) executive leadership.

We might even get a “patriotic” 3rd party out of a Trump/Cruz...Cruz/Trump ticket.

That’s assuming Carson’s votes go to Cruz. Probably many will, but not all and some of those will go to Trump, especially in light of the recent terrorist events as Trump is seen as the strong leader on many issues. The American people are fickle and finicky with many things when it comes to candidates...however, in a SHTF situation they simply want a leader with a plan of action to keep the country safe.

So far they HAVE been trending towards Cruz, at least in national polling. If some go over to Santorum or Huckabee, and those two eventually drop out, the delegates will more likely go to Cruz than Trump at this point, I believe. Fiorina delegates can go anywhere, and Kasich and Christie votes might wind up with Rubio. The John Ellis Bush votes will cry, as the John Ellis Bushies resent the hades out of Rubio.

Where has Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment gone? I have been a Ted Cruz man for over 3 years. But If Trump stays consistent and wins the nomination, I will vote for him. Yes, he is the Andrew Jackson of the Republican Party, but God may be raising him up to save our country! The only candidate I cannot vote for is someone who favors the killing of the unborn.

they’re not really in a panic. They really believe that there’s a Democrat demographic lock on the Presidency that will seen Hillary sworn in on Jan 20, 2017.

What they’re having here is a feigned case of the vapors. Or, in some cases, a real one. To the perpetually offended grevience class, Trump is the guy they love to hate.
