So NPR, the New York Times and the Associated Press searched contemporaneous news accounts and could find no evidence of Muslim-Americans cheering in Jersey City. That’s odd. Because it took me less than two minutes to find this story from the Washington Post dated September 18, 2001 (although I did have to spend $3.95 to buy it from the Post’s archives):
In Jersey City, within hours of two jetliners’ plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river.

I saw the large crowds cheering too. I think it might have been in Turkey or another mid East country tho.

Exactly. He also mentions “thousands and thousands” cheering. No-one has been able to corroberate this. That and Trump was in his Manhatton apartment during the attacks. Not Jersey. I get it though. He tends to exxagerate at times. Instead of “I was in New Jersey and saw thousands and thousands of muslems cheering...”, say, I was in my apartment and heard someone mention something that sort of sounded like maybe a group of people cheered when the buildings came down.
I’m not doubting some people cheered. Cause there are sick people everywhere. Not thousands upon thousands though. That would have been all over the news.

I saw the huge crowds cheering but it was in the Middle East. It may have happened in N.J. too tho.
Yes. Really. Some news source would have covered it. Thousand and thousands of people cheering? Yep. Would have made the news.
Did not happen. Trump was wrong. Exaggerated what he watched on tv.
And just what “news” sources would have covered that,surely not domestic ones.
I saw the middle eastern people celebrating. Saying “It may have happened in Jersey, too” is... Well... Silly.
I may become Supreme Ruler of the World. Unlikely. It MAY happen though.

Do you actually believe if there were thousand upon thousands of people cheering, literally no-one would film it and put it on the news? No-one? Weird.
This isn’t for you, you have already all the facts you need to cement your position.
There may be others who would like to see what was going on at the time, so they can come to a fully informed position.
