I suspect they werent ‘just there’. This was all about moving heaven/earth to resurect Chairman O’s waining reputation, to make him look competent, polished, statesman-like etc etc. The guys who did the op likely had quite the flight to get there in record time. He used these guys for nothing more than a crude attempt to elevated himself. This guy never passes a mirror without admiring the wonderful guy he sees in it. Its all about him all the time....
No we have SF already there training the Mali Army. BUT...O would still need to order them to get involved. (?)
