In the Republican primary race, the newest NBC News/SurveyMonkey online poll shows Donald Trump has the frontrunner spot to himself, with 28% support among Republican and independent voters who lean Republican. Support for Ben Carson, who was tied with Trump in last month's online poll, has fallen off by 8 points and the former neurosurgeon is now tied with Ted Cruz at 18%. Trailing not too far behind is Marco Rubio, at 11%. The next tier of candidates has a lot of catching up to do, with Jeb Bush at 4% and Chris Christie and Carly Fiorina each with 3%.

Thinking about and actually doing something about it are two different things. Trump has been “thinking about” running for president for decades. He just never did much of anything about it, even as he oscillate between the Democratic Party and Republican Party. Guy didn't know what he actually stood for let alone run for any electoral office. Ted Cruz on the other hand....
Be that as it may, my original point stands. Ted Cruz is not running for president to be “the latest anti-Trump” since Ted Cruz was the first major candidate to declare. Ted Cruz is running for president because he believes he will make the best president this country can have and he is right.

In know. 2007 was just sooooo long ago.

I am sure he has had an epiphany since then... NOT.

Wasn’t he still a democrat at this point in time.

He switched over just before 9/11 in 2001.

Stayed that way for 9 years.

So this would be his seventh year as a democrat.

And part of the fruit of his work to get Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, etc. into the top seats.

Perhaps he has changed.

Perhaps he will have Hillary as his running mate instead of Nancy?

Go 'rump/Clinton... That's the ticket. /sarc

Its a lot smaller pond here at FR and its easier for a few to be very loud and aggressive.

I’m just a twitter nobody and I have almost 700 real followers and they’re 90% Cruz supporters.

I just got to follower #100 today. I couldn't say what the breakdown on which candidate they support but I would guess a purality are for Rubio.
