Harvard police are investigating after students at the law school discovered
someone put strips of black tape over images of black professors.

I'd posit a 98% chance that the perp is a black student, who is now acting the outraged little snowflake.

My thoughts exactly.
Have the po-leece dust each portrait and each tape-strip for fingerprints. Run any prints through the national registry. If that fails to ID a culprit, fingerprint everyone on campus including the university president, the board of directors, every student, the head coach, every professor including the two in the portraits....and every union and non-union Harvard employee.
Or.....notify every student wanna-be marcher, protester, rioter, rock-thrower, looter or arsonist.....keep yo damn mouths shut about the portraits and all the racism on campus and keep yo feet off the street if yo don't wannna be hauled into the po-leece department to be fingerprinted immediately!

Funny how this stuff never happened before the Black Lies Matter crowd showed up.
Well .. you could always get fingerprints off the tape; then you just send the perps the BILL. If they don’t pay up, you arrest them for damages. They can sit in jail for 10 days; and kiss their careers goodby.
That will usually put a stop to such foolishness.

I’m not fully up to date on micro-aggressions. Where does black electrical tape rank on the list?
