The Most Important Question About ISIS That Nobody Is Asking
Zero Hedge ^ | 19 Nov 2015 | Tyler

The question of how the Islamic State funds its sprawling caliphate has been discussed in the past: we first broke down the primary driver of ISIS revenue well over a year ago, in September 2014, when we explained that "ISIS uses oil wealth to help finance its terror operations."

...

We wonder how long until someone finally asks the all important question regarding the Islamic State: who is the commodity trader breaching every known law of funding terrorism when buying ISIS crude, almost certainly with the tacit approval by various "western alliance" governments, and why is it that these governments have allowed said middleman to continue funding ISIS for as long as it has?

Obama knew about the role of the oil in funding ISIS 15 months ago.

ISIS makes $1-$3 million/day from selling this oil through Turkey.

Let’s take the middle: That’s $45 million/month.

15 months x $ 45 million = $ 675 million.

That’s 2/3rds of a BILLION dollars.

Exactly..like Rush has said..follow the $$$ trail to see where the big snakes live.

When the snakes are found kill them no matter what grand titles they hold.

We finally started to bomb their oil trucks this week.

I thought it was Russia that did that.

Post 41: “middle” is the mid-point of $3 million, or $1.5 million/day.

Interesting. Makes sense, I guess, that is a whole lot of website to be just one person.

I don’t even know TD is a guy, just guessing. It is a good site, though, I like it. Some of the commenters are way into tinfoil, be advised.

Why isn’t there more being done to see why Belgium seems to be the “Place to Be” if you want to join up with the ISIS forces?

Obama will close down the American petroleum industry before he goes after ISIS oil production.

Putin said members of NATO were buying the oil. We didn’t bomb any of the oil fields or the oil tankers until AFTER Russia entered the fight. Trump was the first U.S. politician to even suggest doing such a thing.

As important, who is selling munitions to these murderers ?

By his words and actions, it would appear to be Obama in an attempt to overthrow Assad. Same as he did in Libya.
