They must know it’s not going to go anywhere. This isn’t like them to do something that’s actually good for the country.
Isn’t this what the dems always do when it is something popular with the American people. They allow most dem members vote with the other side and pick one or more in liberal states to keep the status quo. Remember Mary Landreau.
