I never ate there. I’ve never sent a cent to my alma mater - UCSD - because this place exists.
I knew even back then (it’s been 28 years since I graduated) about Dr. Guevarra’s racist, in-your-face murders and the legacy of his brand of politics in Cuba. Who doesn’t? Denial only goes so far and then Victoria falls...
I get calls from the Alumni association and have written a letter to them - CC’ing the University president and the board of regents - not to expect a cent from me until and unless they purge the campus of this symbol of mass murder, religious and political repression and the fact that it can’t earn enough money to keep itself afloat speaks volumes for marxism writ large.

Intentions are oh so much more important than actual results to “Progressives”. So what if their cafe can’t meet fire and safety codes and is insolvent? Laws shouldn’t apply if you have good intentions, especially good “Progressive” intentions. And it’s only right that all other students, most of whom were probably born of capitalist pig parents anyway, are forced to provide subsidies so that we can “keep our prices low”.

I totally agree the school should pay. Pay to have it bulldozed. One can only imagine the state of the refrigerator.
