Editorial: Inhuman fearmongering and very human refugees
nydailynews.com ^ | november 16, 2015

Dabbling cruelly in ethnic and religious prejudice, more than a dozen U.S. governors have declared they would close their states to Syrian refugees in the aftermath of the Paris attacks.

Most monstrously, New Jersey's Chris Christie announced that he would bar even "3-year-old orphans" from entering. Mounting desperation in his quest for the Republican presidential nomination has stripped Chistrie both of conscience and fealty to American values.

All too typically, Donald Trump joined the yahoo brigade by describing Syrian refugees as a Trojan horse, meaning that ISIS operatives bent on death and destruction would be among those admitted to the U.S.

-snip

While European nations have opened doors to vast numbers, President Obama has envisioned accepted a mere 10,000 after stringent screening. America has at least that moral obligation and should be able to fulfill it securely, not least because oceans separate the U.S. from abroad.

Perspective and decency are in order. First, ISIS plotters need not join refugees to travel from country to country. Second, a religious test for admitting refugees violates all that American stands for. And why stop there? Consistency would demand barring all Muslim immigration.

The ugliness is appalling.

Isn’t it odd they all supposedly walked for 100’s of miles, without food, without water, and across the Mediterranean on brand new rafts, with brand new life vests, nice clothes, cell phones, etc... Makes you go hmmm...

Christian Syrians...fine.

They really are persecuted.

Muslims...well no.

The rest of the Middle East is available. They’ll be comfy.

“Send these refugees to a holding area FIRST, until some kind of comprehensive vetting process can take place, more than simply ‘No negative record - you’re OK, go on in’”

Sorry to disagree, but finding no “negative record” on undocumented people whose religion allows them to lie and whose country’s record system, if it ever existed, is destroyed, is no answer at all.

If someone thinks a record check will work, then the acceptable result must be, a positive report on a verified identity.

I’d be inclined accept a letter of recommendation from his local Christian minister. If he’s a known good guy, he should be able to get one, even if he is a Muslim. What? All the local Christians were killed off, and this guy did nothing to stop it? That question answers itself.

LIBERALISM = PARIS MASSACRE
STUPIDITY = IMPORTING “REFUGEES” WHO CAN NOT BE VETTED

Liberals live in an imaginary self created out of touch illusion.....
Get out of the IVORY TOWERS and face reality

WE ARE IN A KILL OR BE KILLED war WITH RADICAL JIHAD... and they dont follow any rules and kill innocent people and use any means available to do so...

Don't forget that every crowd photo of them is almost entirely young military age men with a handful (sometimes only one or two) women and children in the foreground for show.

Somebody posted a great graphic of them with a caption reading something like "Just what is it they are running away from while leaving the women and children behind to deal with it?" Wish I could find it because it tells the whole story in one picture.

No, there were posts yesterday that they were throwing the women and children overboard. Makes sense for these animals.

It makes no diference if the New York daily News likes it or not....but good and evil are NOT one and the same.... Christianity is good.....Islam, like voodoo, is EVIL...!

we need leaders who think differently.

* we want boots on the ground in the area - but not US citizens.

* we have a lot of refuges who really need help with a mix of terrorist and we can’t tell who’s who.

What if we take a lot of the women and children into the US for 5 years. And take the males aged 14-45 to a military training camp in the ME. We train them and when appropriate we arm them. This type of thing hasn’t worked well before. But - In 5 years the men’s families WILL be sent back to Syria. They have that much time and incentive to learn what they need and take back at least enough of Syria for their families to be safe. If ANYONE (man/woman/child) participates in a terrorist act or disappears during that time they all go back IMMEDIATELY (get the “good ones” to police the rest).

Maybe it’s a terrible idea. But why do we keep hearing only the same old ideas? And why are we only talking about how many refugees we will accept in an idea that is known to be bad (terrorists WILL slip in with refugees). Rather than how to get them to help with the vetting and police themselves and military help fixing the problems so they can return to their country?

There have to be better ideas than what we’re hearing. Even if we refuse all refugees (which is my preference) we have a big problem in the ME and there doesn’t seem to be any good idea how to get Muslims to help with that.

Leftists have created a caricature of a Christian that bears a striking resemblance to an actual Islamist. It’s much easier for them to fear and despise this imaginary Christian than the real are more terrifying Muslim.

NY Daily news used to be a sorta-normal paper, but within the last few years they’ve gone full Obama-boot-licking-lackey mode for some reason. They’re now among the worst, along with the NY Slimes, WashPost, Politico, and CNN.

Obama’s refugee plan is in real danger now, with more governors saying no, there’s a snowball effect and public opinion is shifting against Obama - so of course his media propagandists must be mobilised to attack anyone who resists. Calling them racist and un-American is typical.

Get used to it, there will be more media attacks, a lot more. Let’s hope most of the public has the common-sense to fight back.

Ah, yes. The shopworn *moral obligation* argument. As though morality is anything but a convenient bait for the marxist hook.

RULE 4: Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.

‘Obama has envisioned accepted a mere 10,000 after stringent screening.’

Rigid screening process:

Screener: Are you a member of ISIS?

ISIS member: No, I am a humble and lowly persecuted Muslim, for my life.

Screener: You’re in. Here’s your EBT card. Don’t forget your Earned Income Tax Credit.

Refer to my tag line, and know that while not all mooselimbs are terrorists, 99.7% of all terrorists are mooselimb. Let allah sort them out.

I typed ‘fearing for my life.’ It’s one of those days when the touchscreen edits without warning, rhyme or reason, I guess.

Does anyone else remember back in elementary school - when a small handful of kids would fool around, cause trouble, disrupt class.. and teacher repeatedly warned the WHOLE class that if it didn’t stop, we’d not get our recess?

We either policed our own (the bad kids) or we paid the price.

Simple lessons learned by children are so easily forgotten once we grow up...
