Fox News reports that jihadi web sites are rejoicing over today’s terrorist attacks in Paris. The line we have heard more than once from ISIS-related sites is, “The American blood is best, and we will taste it soon.†The French are tougher than many realize, but they are not the primary targets of Muslim extremists.
This morning, in a burst of bad timing, Barack Obama said on ABC that ISIS is “contained.†Far from being contained, ISIS is on a roll, from the Sinai, where they apparently brought down an airplane full of Russian tourists, to Paris, France.
No one can seriously doubt that ISIS, and other Muslim terrorist groups, are doing all they can to attack the United States. We, meanwhile, are welcoming enormous numbers of immigrants from Islamic countries, and have gone “open borders†so that anyone can enter the United States from the south. What reason is there to think that Islamic terrorists will not enter across our unguarded borders and organize attacks similar to, or worse than, what France experienced tonight? None.

Well starting today, I’m taking this concealed carry thing seriously. I got my permit, I got my gun...and it’s going to be with me from here on out. Whereever I go.
Washington is the bigger problem and they have all the modern weaponry. If we don’t remove the left which controls the black-robe branch, the executive branch, and most of the legislation, we will fail. The left controls the military and we have no more than bows and arrows by comparison. If the military takes our side, which is doubtful, we win.
But today, it's not feasible. It's like MacArthur telling Wainwright not to surrender. Easy to say before the soldiers are starving with no hope. Maybe Dugout Doug would have fought to the last, maybe not.
Right now, we have to 1) stabilize and rebuild US military power, morale, and confidence; 2) address the immediate security threat of the border; pick your spots. Reagan turned around US morale and confidence with resolve and high profile demonstrations, but VERY limited actual force (Grenada). Now, we know this is a different war, but every victorious war is the same: one victory at a time. To quote Arnold "Ve'll be back."

The "200,000 men shiort" was a Dem myth from the get go. Bush did a good job until Dem traitors completely undercut morale and the overall effort, snatching defeat from victory. But they cannot erase the reality of the fact that when we had a free hand we so thoroughly eradicated al-Qaeda that in seven years they couldn't stage a single minor attack in America and were reduced to begging for women and children volunteers.
Precisely why I have the same kind of contempt for rank and file democrats that others have for student activists.
Thank you. My father in law was one of those B17 pilots. He bombed mostly strategic locations, industry’s, energy, rail yards and the like. Indeed, it got the Luftwaffe’s attention. Socialism is rearing it’s ugly head again and will always be with us.
Bush’s strategy worked well. Thanks for clarifying. I know well a man that was on the UN inspection team for WMDs. He confirmed; Saddam Hussein had them and they mostly moved to Syria.

I live in Dayton, and have toured the US Air Force Museum many times and often get the official tour, but sometimes with a guest get a special tour. One of the guides explained that the B-17 glass nose was its most vulnerable point, and that Luftwaffe fighters would go straight at the bombers. A bullet, he said, often would go completely through the plane, killing or wounding several, including the bombardier, pilot/co-pilot, mid-gunners, and tail gunner. Even the upper ball turret and later, the added lower nose turret really didn’t fix this. Only the P-51s, P-47s, and P-38s did :)
I’ve been saying for years that it would be very easy for jihadists to come across the southern borders, as they are similar is stature, coloring and diet to Latinos. But would anyone listen?...Nooooooooooo!

Yes they do! ...and I love the fact ISIS greatly fears Kurd women fighters MORE than any other foe!...they are terrified that dying at the hands of a female will stop them from reaching heaven....HAHAHA!...In fact one of them is said to have killed more than 100 jihadists in the battle for Kobane, on the Turkey-Syria border.
Bush understood what his masters told him to understand. You do NOT fight a war against terrorism with open borders. That’s not a war, it’s subterfuge for the real purpose.
