An injured hostage inside the Paris theatre described how the terrorists were slaughtering ‘everyone one by one’ in an attack thought to have killed at least 100 people.
Benjamin Cazenoves, one of those held captive during a rock concert, wrote on social media: ‘I’m still at the Bataclan. 1th floor. Hurt Bad! There are survivors inside. They are cutting down all the world. One by one.’
He added in another Facebook post: ‘Alive. Just cuts... Carnage... Dead bodies everywhere.’
Reports said that French security forces had successfully stormed the building, freed the surviving hostages and killed two terrorists thought to be among six or seven who perpetrated attacks throughout Paris on Friday night.
