Can we start a list somewhere of all the GOPe lining up against Trump? Let's see...

Bob Dole

Mitt Romney

Newt Gringrich

Keep it going. Would it be safe to say that Trump's positions are proving to be to the right of these losers?

People in Mexico think we’re idiots for allowing what we do.

No, I'm sure they recognize that the U.S. Government has fallen 100% into the hands of persons who do not have the People's best interests at heart, and that the situation here is becoming similar to the last days of the French ancien regime.

At the same time, they recognize the opportunity for them -- to dump people on us, obtain a very large stream of extra national income, and down the road, to open up an opportunity to recover the Southwest and Texas.

Sure they are. He has them scared to death.

These days it’s easier to explain who doesn’t line up against Trump.

That would be Conservatives who realize that we are not going to get a conventional Conservative nominated. We haven’t done it in 32 years.

They back Trump because they know they will get some of their agenda passed. What did Bush pass? What did his dad pass? What has been passed for our agenda from the Left?

Folks, I’ll take something rather than nothing.

If Trump steps down before the primaries, we get Marco Rubio as our next nominee.

Democrats, Independents, and Moderate Republicans are not going to side with Conservatives on Cruz. It just won’t happen.

Are folks seriously drunk enough to think the folks who voted in Obama will vote in Cruz? They seem to be indicating they will vote for a populist. These days, I’ll take that.

Who is against Trump?

The GOPe
Just about every Republican office holder
The DNC
Every Democrat office holder
Almost all Bureaucrats
Newpapers, almost all of them
Televion, talking heads, pundits, commentators, cable news networks
Blogosphere, almost all of it, even the traditional Conservative sites
FReepers, Conservatives who are convinced Cruz can get the nomination because they like him, never mind 32 years of primaries proving otherwise
All public support groups

For Trump:

Realist Conservatives
Some crossover voters
The American Public

Over the last twenty years, I have spoken to U. S. Citizens with family in Mexico. I’ve heard a number of stories where the Mexican people have said they think we’re crazy. They wouldn’t allow it. Not every Mexican is a person looking to flout the law and take advantage.

We’re looking at the very low classes that come over. The middle-class isn’t coming. They are doing okay and will stay put.

We all know the middle class in Mexico isn’t as robust as ours. That is the way it is down there though, IMO.

Can you image Cruz up against Hillary in a debate?

Cruz will be the responsible adult in the room talking about balanced budgets and stuff and Hillary will just talk about all the free stuff she will give away. Hillary wins.

Trump will face off against Hillary and just rip on her face or say that interns had to do the job for Bill that she wasn't able or willing to do.

Trump landslide. ;-)

Stop the welfare. Stop the jobs (fine/heavily tax those that employ illegals) and they will deport themselves.

Trump won’t mince words with her, but who is going to believe her? She’s a lying manipulator with more dead past associates than most people have ever had as associates.

I think her little dog n pony show is growing old for just about everyone.

Did you know she has brought in $40+ million the last two quarters, where our folk have brought in around $10.

That’s the one kicker right there.

Once our guy is nominated, I think the money will roll in.

She may be indicted too.

Does Obama allow her to get the nomination, then indict her three weeks before the general election and then game the thing so he gets to run again?

Not every Mexican is a person looking to flout the law and take advantage.

I should have made clear I was thinking of the Mexico City intellectuals and upper crust. The intellectuals are very Red (and have been since the Revoution) and nativist as well (under the influence of Aprista refugees from Peru who were exiled by the dictator Leguia; the APRA was populist, socialist, and nativist [anti-European/white]) and entertain irridentist ambitions.

Thanks for that clarification, and hope my note didn’t go over the top based on it.
