Fox Business host Neil Cavuto engaged a scholar in earnest Socratic dialogue Thursday.
Keely Mullen is a national organizer for #MillionStudentMarch, a movement that demands “tuition-free public college, cancellation of all student debt, and a $15 minimum wage for all campus workers†in response to the crisis caused by rapacious corporate education.
“#MillionStudentMarch is a movement for a more equitable and fair system of education as opposed to the really corporate model we have right now,†Mullen said.
Mullen is a graduate of the prestigious Francis W. Parker School and political science student at Northeastern University, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Cavuto asked how this agenda would be financed.
“Great question, I mean, you know, so—I’m not sure if you’re talking about a national level or per school?†Mullen said.
When pressed, Mullen said that the top one percent of earners needed to pay tax rates upwards of 90 percent, a rate 10 percentage points higher than that proposed by socialist Thomas Piketty. Mullen said it was worth it.
“I live in a world and I see a system around me where there is a population that is doing nothing to contribute to the progression of society,†Mullen said, referring to the freeloaders at the top who pay more in taxes than the bottom 90 percent of earners combined.
When Cavuto pointed out that even a 100 percent tax on the top one percent of income earners would be insufficient to fund Medicare for three years, much less free college tuition and a $15 minimum wage, Mullen delivered a devastating rebuttal.

Graduate from a prestigious College!? Mommy and daddy better be seeking a refund. This airhead cannot form a complete thought and express it verbally to support her position. After this video this cupcake will be lucky to land a position making 40k per year. I hope her family saved.

We should also ban college students from voting as long as they are enrolled in these "higher education" mental institutions. If this fluff-brain is typical of the college scene, it is obvious most either don't have the mental capacity or are adult enough to think like an actual adult.
It's little wonder one of their big demands is a $15 an hour minimum wage. A minimum wage is likely all they will ever be worth to anybody, if that.
Why don't they just skip all the drama and demand Free Sh!t For Life or a big paying government job?... $15 an hour is chicken feed.

So, here’s what I would propose to Ms. Mullen:
Students who go to elite universities have more opportunity than those who don’t, and this serves as a pedigree and a source of connections that can help them throughout life. Let’s make it fair, and set up a mandatory ‘exchange student’ program that requires students from Harvard, Northeastern, Yale, Brown, etc. to spend time at lower ranked schools, and that gives their places at Harvard etc. to the students from these lower ranked schools. Then let’s give everyone a ‘hybrid’ diploma that reflects the time spent at both schools. Wouldn’t that be fair?
And to think her parents paid for that education.
Who is surprised by this. This girl wasn’t raised on a farm and have to do her chores before school, watching her mother and father work like dogs.
She is the product of 12 years of communist school indoctrination. It is not that she hasn’t a brain in her head. Her brain is probably too good, but it hasn’t been allowed to work. She was only rewarded for regurgitating Marxist theory all down the line.
And there are MILLIONS of new Marxists like this running around.
You want a real kick in the pants? Her and her fellow sisters will be running the nation in 25 years. Is that terrifying enough for you? I am so grateful I was born in the 50s and won’t live to see the coming totalitarian oppression stifle 300 million americans who have never known freedom.
It is sad. I didn’t cause this - not by a long shot - but it is still gut-wrenching seeing the nation crash and burn on my watch. The communists have won. It is all over but the crying and about 20 years of transitioning to hard socialist tyranny.
You are thinking too small. We need to prohibit federal voting to anyone who doesn’t pay federal taxes and state voting to anyone who doesn’t pay state taxes, or in states without an income tax, only property owners can vote.

I felt Cavuto's pain as he questioned her, trying hard to give her some room to think before opening mouth, so not to overload her brain or what's left of it. But no, that idiot kept going, rofl.
I think at one time he said something of going back to a 100% tax plan, she said yes. He posed that question to show her idiocracy and she was off.
STOP IT NOW, rofl. But it's true and the same thing I said back during the hippie days. One day one of those scum will be President, and so it was, Bill Clinton was elected. Surprised? NO.
