Rubio is already GOPee’s candidate, replaced Bush. It’s gonna be a big fight.
Cruz has never taken a shot at Trump.
Cruz has defended Trump on a number of occasions.
We all know there is a truce and coordination between the two, starting with their meeting last summer.
Trump and Cruz have a confluence of interests right now in taking out Rubio. So, in addition to Trump doing it on his own account, I believe he owes it to Cruz too, based on the above.
Again, just the opposite could be said ;-)

Illegal immigration will sink Rubio fast once it gets thinned down to real candidates.

Not everyone has an opinion or understanding of trade issues, but illegal immigration is a 3:1 death pill to both Republicans and most Democrats.

I hope Cruz pulls the trigger pretty soon and sends Rubio back to Florida to sell more used cars.
According to the husband, who still subjects himself to the hacks on Faux News, the FOX commentators were saying this morning that Bush did poorly but that Rubio performed very well.
