I was very tired the night Trump was on SNL, so I didn’t turn it on, afraid it would keep me up. So, I ‘watched it’ via the FR thread.
Stayed up just as long despite myself; and the thread was a lot more fun than watching the taped show was the next day, anyway ;-)

Thing is Rand Paul makes, as well as refutes good points. Two debates ago, Christie said that as president, he wouldn’t seek out a warrant to spy on suspected terrorists (those being born here, not foreign). Paul rightly pointed out that that would violate their rights.
He has next to no chance, but he rightly should be in the debates to put the wishy washy candidates in their place.

A couple of weeks ago I actually heard him tell Harris Faulkner that the first steps toward solving the “palestinian problem” was that the palestinians should have more freedom, more money, and that they needed to not be hungry. He said that people who are not hungry don’t attack other people.
I thought I was imagining this - anyone this delusional about the palestinians has no business running for president, IMHO.
Now that Carson has joined Bush, Rubio and the other GOPe rinos in pushing for amnesty, there are only two viable pro-America candidates left: Cruz and Trump.
I'm for Cruz, but will just as happily pull the lever for Trump if he gets it.
