Here, in Canada, leftists oppose the TPP (and other trade pacts). Most conservatives (i.e. supporters of free markets) support free trade.
Actually that is also true in the U.S. FReeper protectionists are in bed with the far left. They get away with it because Obama is a moderate on this issue. The same people were against welfare reform in the 90s.
A free trade agreement can be a really good thing. This one has a lot of really bad stuff that gives a panel authority to over ride our laws. It is basically 5500 pages of treachery. Obama cannot be trusted on Anything.
