No, YOU are missing the point.
Scrutinize and criticize any Republican candidate you
choose but make sure you do it based on honest and
truthful sources, not the left wing lie machine.
You cannot honestly give them cred for beating on
any GOP candidate and then slam them for lying when
they get around telling half-truths and lies about
your candidate choice. The MSM is equal opportunity
haters of all things Republican even though the
GOPe can’t seem to grasp that truth. We should
applaud any Republican who fights back including
Carson.

Rush propping up a candidate with the disastrous policy positions of Ben Carson is very disappointing whatever his reasons are.

I agree with you; or, he could be SG.
I was aware of Dr. Carson long before he hit the political ‘scene’, because I suffered from a particularly painful condition on which he was doing some very interesting work.
After that problem was resolved for me (I was fortunate to be one of the people for whom a cure could be found) I next was impressed by Carson, when he got into Obama’s face at the prayer breakfast - and he did it with gentle dignity, respect and absolute moral impunity.
How many other so-called ‘Conservatives’ have done that?
He’s a good man, and a very talented man. We need him in the mix.

Do any of Carson’s supporters ever mention which of his positions they like the most? Cruz’ supporters cite his strong commitment to the Constitution, and Trump supporters like the wall and his commitment to deport illegals. What positions of Carson’s do his supporters most frequently cite, I wonder?
I’ve never heard a Carson supporter cite any substantive reason for supporting him. Most don’t even know he supports amnesty, gun control and now, TPP.
When did his brother refuse to collaborate Ben’s story? I’m just curious.
Agree with you on that. It just occurred to me that I have never heard a Cruz supporter offer a spirited, or even a tepid, defense of Carson’s positions/agenda. I don’t think any of his supporters even call him a conservative. If they did, they’d have a hard time proving it.

I think Dr. Ben is more intelligent, has a work ethic, and has accomplished more. Rubio has accomplished nothing significant and lacks a work ethic. Dr. Carson talks normally while Rubio talks as if he is repeating memorized speeches.
Apparently an old friend surfaced today that can collaborate Carson’s story that he tried to stab someone. How bizzare is that. If I had tried to stab someone, and I don’t care when it happened, and it couldn’t be proven, I damn sure wouldn’t seek out someone that can prove I tried to kill someone. Has the stature of limitations ran out on attempted murder? Carson is one more stange dude. From the stories I’ve read from all the people that knew him growing he was a nerdy looking little kid that didn’t say boo to anyone and hardly ever talked. But I guess that’s not good enough for his image as a Christian crusader who God cured from his pathway to self-destruction. What will it be tomorrow? Stay tuned.
