It's the worst thing to do. The best thing to do would be cancel the football program, fire the coaches, and expel the "student athletes".
Couple things... I have lived in Columbia, MO for 52 years. I attended school at MU, I’ve worked for MU, I know a lot of people that work for MU now.
Wolfe believed in fiscal responsibility and was despised by the tenured faculty. A number of them have been looking for any excuse to have him removed.
The blacks don’t like him because he wouldn’t kiss their asses in the manner to which they’ve become accustomed.
When the football team threatened to go on strike Wolfe was left with a simple choice - resign or get fired. A cabal of “athletics boosters” had, prior to today, made it clear that if Wolfe didn’t resign, and the Board of Curators didn’t fire him, that good ol Missouri Governor Jeremiah Nixon would be stepping in to make things right.
The university here has always been run by the “ol boys network”, and it always will be run by the “ol boys network”. As an organization, it is one of the most secretive outfits that I’ve ever been around. Public relations is taken very seriously and every effort is made to sweep the dirt under the rug whenever possible. Every now and then they try to put on a show and bring in someone from the outside, to freshen things up so to speak, and it usually ends badly, as is plainly exhibited by events of the past few days.
You can take his place. Go get them, Tiger.

I truly, truly hope there is a massive blowback on the thugocracy. I don’t care if it is the White Good Old Boys Network or the Concerned Clowns Playing Victim Cabal. I want to see them both lose because of this nonsense.
They have been wanting a war for at least 20 years, probably longer. Trouble is, that they can’t find anyone to war with.

Me and some co-workers agreed to take over the “scholarships” of those fine protesting student-afleets on the condition they re-name the team to “Fat Old White Guys”. Send a tuition bill for Spring Semester to each of those former scholarship players.

So he’s pretty much a lone voice of sanity in a corrupt and weak college administration. What a mess they’ve made.

I am at a loss concerning why the Negroes are upset What could he have done to stop free speech. The constitution allows free speech setting forth that “NO LAW” shall “abridge the freedom of speech” and certainly not thought. I have reviewed the stories on this two or three times and I see no school policy that was racist at all. In my view ,the national guard should be called and to expel these trouble makers for good and to reestablish order on this government property. Why should the football players quit because some white kid gets drunk and says stupid stuff? I am totally lost except to know that this State institution needs to get control of these “ONLY BLACK LIVES MATTER” idiots and do it QUICK. I know im getting fed up with this.

About 10 africans have camped out and trashed the campus Quad. They recruited black football players and demanded that Wolfe resign for not being sensitive enough (ie code for not enough free tuition and living space for blacks only) to their extortion attempts. This was mainly fueled with outside influence from the Alinsky camp as a vendetta for refusing to embrace the Ferguson hoax.
