Didn’t a certain Colonel catch a LOT of flack over charging a $200 set of tires on a govt card back in the Reagan days? It was almost another Watergate.
Even if he did pay them off in total -and we'll have to take his worthless word for it- it's still very bad optics.

If he can show a single charge at AMEX or a combination of charges and then show a hit to his bank statement of the same amount, he will prove his case.
He is sloppy at the least.
He was probably short of cash and needed the GOP AMEX credit card to make ends meet.
I don’t know. Maybe if he was a registered Dem, acting like one probably won’t save him.
GOPe loses Rubio, who’s left...they might go nuclear option.
