Today Rush spent a lot of time defending Carson, that could come back to haunt him and others who do the same.

My own personal feeling are that he is ‘media made’ man starting with his book, then the now suspect movie of his life leading up to candidacy.

His campaign operators racked up some impressive donation totals too. Running for president is lucrative for somebody, and to get the most out of the opportunity, there needs to be a salable front man.

I think Carson believed he was making a serious run. I find him sincere, but I don't think one can reliably judge the character of a person by what they present to the masses via mass media. He says that his friends are the ones that urged him to run. I wonder how much money his friends made on the effort.

I tend to think as you do that Carson is a ‘media’ man but this should not be the only factor to take into account. He certainly has opened the doors for political comparisons.

Personal attacks aren’t going to gaqin Trump any more support and will only damage the eventual nominee, whether it’s Trump, Carson, or someone else.

Pushing cheap labor express of foreign workers on H1-B visa. That hurts American citizens. They lose jobs to cheap imports and general level of American wages go down, which means standard of living goes down.

Under "normal" circumstances with "decent" people and a "moral news media" Congress and the Senate would be filled with 535 "Dr. Ben Carson" types.

Dr. Ben Carson (once he accomplished his first surgeries) has been "coddled" ... for both his accomplishments and because he's black ... sorry, that's the TRUTH ...

and that is NOT how a 2016 U.S. Presidential Campaign is successfully operated.
