Carson is correct, actually. BUT,and this is a BIG but, the MSM is going to bog him down endlessly with this issue, which basically is not something that a Presidential candidate needs to be spending his time on. It’s not really an issue that a President can or should be seriously involved in, particularly since it doesn’t seriously affect national policy, unlike the equally bogus “climate change” BS, which DOES impact national policy.
Basically, Carson has opened himself to a tar-baby punching match with his defense of his insane assertion that the Egyptian pyramids were built by Joseph for “grain storage”.
The MSM is going to hound Carson mercilessly now until he utterly destroys himself. Unfortunately for the Democrat super-PAC media, and fortunately for us, Carson will be taken out far too quickly before he can do serious damage to the GOP, and since most of his support (however much that actually might be) is anti-establishment, most of that support should shift to Trump.
He’s right, of course. But it doesn’t fit the required narrative.

There’s really not room for giraffes with necks only somewhere near the ideal length. We can’t see the transition anymore. There’s variation for a while and then there’s semi-stability. Only the semi-stable variety survives in enough multiplicity—sometimes—in the fossil record to be observed, and becomes known as the species.
Saw this elementary illustration one time: Professor had one of those huge flip pads. He pointed to the entire blank page and said “This is the sum total of all species that ever existed.” Then he drew a little tiny dot in the middle: “And this is the fossil record.”

I would guess that Carson’s views on this have not evolved, unlike politicians who change until their professed beliefs meet the approval of the mainstream media.

My decision not to support Carson for president has nothing to do with his wacky ideas on science and history and everything to do with his wacky ideas on taxes, foreign affairs, and Medicare/Medicaid. He could believe the earth was flat and the moon was made of green cheese for all I care.
