Impossible. Everybody knows the Tea Party is as dead as a doornail.

And don't forget the BIG Loss of Progressive Sheriff of San/Fran. Ross Mirkarimi was a law enforcement office who was prohibited from carrying a firearm b/c he had been convicted of spousal abuse.

San Francisco Sheriff (and convicted wife-beater) Ross
Mirkarimi is a scumbag who gets scummier everyday.

Lib/zit Mirkarimi came out w/ guns blazing--defending sanctuary city policies in no uncertain terms after the Steinle killing. Yet, when the creep sees an illegal felon he gets all soft and sentimental. Now, if was doing the job he's paid for on behalf of the safety of the city's citizens----he could have held the killer felon for spitting on the sidewalk---or some similar ordinance.

WIKI--Rostam Mirkarimi was born in Chicago to Nancy Kolman, a 19-year- old descended from Russian Jews, and Hamid Mirkarimi, an Iranian immigrant. His parents divorced when he was 5. Prior to being Sheriff, Ross Mirkarimi served on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, representing District 5 from 2005 to 2011.

Mirkarimi was elected sheriff in November 2011. He served from January to March 2012, at which time he was charged with domestic violence battery, child endangerment, and dissuading a witness in connection with a December 31, 2011 New Year's Eve altercation with his wife, Ileana.

MUG SHOT--- Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi

... remember, Toomey, Rubio, Paul, and Ayotte were all celebrated as Tea Party wins.

But they were progress (just imagine Senator Crist) ... and they will help shift the Congress to the right under new Leadership.

After all ... Rome wasn't built in a day. To paraphrase SecDef Rumsfeld ... this will be a long, hard slog.

Another Progressive loser was pot legalization in Ohio.

Ten pot farmers would have become billionaires.

One of the farmers, reality star, Nick Leshay, stupidly made an ad in support, saying he was only pot-farming b/c he loves Ohio.

Pittsburghs mayor is just a straight up idiot. Political party has nothing to do with it. He’s an assclown

“The begining of the taking back of America!”

Hopefully, but I have my doubts. Typical off year election with Rats not mustering up the bribes, busing in votes, and millenials to hung over to bother.

I am much more confident though. This could be a result of folks having had enough of the Dems mischief and what they have been doing is now starting to fail.

In other words, “the Trump effect”.

They were. At first I didn't trust Bevin. He's a businessman with no voting record who said and did some weird things in his US Senate run. But now? After all the stuff the puppetmasters have done to destroy Bevin, he might actually stay conservative and principled.

Fingers crossed.

I never watch TV, but I was in a doctor’s office waiting room for about an hour last week. The local FOX news channel had an interview with Sally Fields pushing the “HERO” act and had a pro “HERO” commercial during every commercial break. The commercials were slick and convincing. I thought it would pass.
I guess the number of people who can be controlled by the media is smaller than I thought.

“the anti Bevin ads pulled out all the stops to portray him as evil incarnate”

True, but at least they didn’t sink to the same level as those used by Bitc* McConnell in the primary.

Bevin’s probably legit — he’s just not much of a campaigner. Apparently his two Democretin opponents were too easy to see through.

Not in the 2 big School Board races in Colorado....

The unions killed our incumbent Conservatives in Douglas and Jefferson Counties.

It’s a big deal, because DoCo had set the model for firing the unions and establishing pay for performance.

Yes, good point. But this is something we have to fix.

“...Matt Bevin (R) defied expectations and defeated state Attorney General Jack Conway (D), becoming the first Republican governor in more than 40 years.”
___
Marina Fang must have forgotten about Ernie Fletcher (R) who was governor 2003 - 2007. Or “more than 40 years” made the story was more sensational.

Bevin aint going there. He knows what we conservative Kentuckians think of liberal Democrat Mitch “Harry’s bitch”
McConnell.

Toomey and Ayotte are outright traitors to the conservative cause. They are de facto Democrats.

I thought they were the same ads. No kidding. I figured Mitch just sent them right on over to Conway and then endorsed Bevin at the last minute, when it looked like Matt would win. I’m sure Mitch had better polls than we saw in papers and on tv.

True dat. AND ... they're still BETTER than the alternatives they ran against in their previous Senate elections.

AND ... they're better than McQueeg, McConnell, Graham, Cornyn, Hatch, Collins, Alexander, Corker, Flake, Kirk, Murkowski .......

Replacing the Senate with conservatives will be a long, hard slog. It won't happen overnight and progress is better than non progress.

Is there hope? Is there really a point where people have had enough?

Who is John Galt?

Atlas Shrugged is now nonfiction.
