They can try and blame it on whatever anyone wants to, but the “blame” just goes to the terrific sex drive of male canines. If there is a bitch in heat, them boys are up for it. If a female dog or coyote is the only gal around putting forth “the scent” well? Any port in a storm! The “natural enemies” thing simply is set aside in favor of the “gosh I just think you are WONDERFUL” behavior of “horn dogs” everywhere ....it’s the big “duhhh!” non rocket science observation of anyone that knows dogs in general...
