LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CBSLA.com) – Six passengers kicked off a Spirit Airlines plane at Los Angeles International Airport Monday night accused a flight attendant of discrimination.
The travelers said they were singled out and booted off the aircraft because they are black.
“I’m really humiliated just for the simple fact that you hear about this type of stuff happening in America, discrimination issues and stuff like that, but to actually experience it first-hand,†said passenger Alexandria Wright.
Witnesses told CBS2/KCAL9’s Tom Wait the passengers were removed from Flight 868 after a white flight attendant accused a member in the group of being a threat.
It started with confusion over a seat, which the travelers claimed was double-booked. Then police came and escorted the three couples, all black, off the plane.
“It was more than just us having the conversation. Why is that six black people got kicked off the plane?†Wright asked.(snip)
After arriving at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, witnesses on the flight told reporters the banned passengers were being disruptive.

Should have kicked them off the plane 10,000 feet up there would be no need for discrimination claims.
These people are making the case that about 17% of the population have rights of control over the other 83% of the population. Something doesn’t jibe with these numbers. Perhaps such might be because the 17% believe they have extraordinary rights because of skin color. As a youth I was dark skinned and even more so when out in the sunshine getting darker and taken as a Negro. I never felt or believed I was discriminated against because of skin color. I tend to think/believe there is much more to the societal problem than simply skin color.

No two-parent families, multi-generational dependence on government dole, teens having babies like rabbits in a den, liberal policies letting criminals out way before their sentences are done, if they even serve any time at all, drugs and illegal immigration letting whoever wants in to come in and begin a ‘new life’ at taxpayers expense, et al..........................

I’m beginning to wonder if blacks are more emotional than other races. I sure see a lot of “quick to anger” going on.
Or it could just be “the chip”. But assuming the flight attendant has served other blacks, I don’t think they have a case.
FOX interviewed one of those passengers, a black guy, kind of average looking and seemed a decent chap; he said they were disruptive & seemed embarrassed to be associated with them.
My daughter used to be a waitress. She said blacks tip very poorly if at all. And they are rude, messy customers in general.
We’d call them “Canadians”......”Oh crap, I just got a bunch of Canadians seated at my table, so much for my tip.”
Aren’t all black passengers kicked off Spirit airlines planes? They’re not? Then why just this six? Maybe it’s something else...
Never in the history of commercial aviation has a white person been kicked off of a flight for being unruly.
