II did not know that there was even one Missouri Synod parish called “University Lutheran Church” in the US.

I just found a few on the Net.

The great majority of parishes with that name are ELCA, and even if they have conservative Lutheran roots, they are willy-nilly pulled into the “university” Zeitgeist, and become “gay-affirming”.

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) has a campus ministry, LCMS U, whose mission is to support students, parents, congregations and campus ministries as they seek to bear witness to Christ on our nation’s college campuses. Any LCMS church, including those called University Lutheran Church, that are pulled into the “university Zeitgeist” and become “gay-affirming” would be doing so without the approval of the LCMS.
