Paul Ryan doubtful about defunding Planned Parenthood
CNN ^ | November 1, 2015 | Eugene Scott

Bash asked, "Will you defund Planned Parenthood?"

"This is what I mean when I say being an effective opposition party. I think being an effective opposition party means being honest with people upfront about what it is we can and cannot achieve," he said.

"But we also have to push issues where we can push issues, we have to speak truth to power," he added. "We have a president that isn't willing to listen, that isn't going to sign lots of our bills into law, we have a Senate that has a very difficult process when it comes to actually getting bills voted on, so knowing that we have those constraints, we have to operate within those constraints."

He is only conservative when it comes to taking care of big business. He is also liberal when it comes to taking care of big business. What every helps big business he is for.

My Congressman justified his vote for Ryan because Ryan said he wouldn’t bring up amnesty until 2017. I can only assume that this is so Republicans can own it completely. I most likely will not be supporting Trent Kelly in 2016.

How would there be a difference if Pelosi were back in the chair?

This morning on Fox News Sunday, John Roberts asked Ryan if he’d shut the government down for PP or anything.. Ryan wouldn’t answer. Roberts pressed him.. Ryan wouldn’t say yes or no. Which means NO.

He’s no better than the rest.. but didn’t expect him to be.. they are all aligned with one another... what Washington has is catching!

Can’t afford to trust a single one of them... never again, unless we have a true revolution and get that congress cleaned out! ... which is not likely to happen.

In other words, we are won't do anything unless we know the Senate and the President will sign off on it.

Pansy ass, do nothing, surrender monkey. But you'll still take a paycheck, right?

Voting is a counterproductive exercise.

*************
Voting GOP calls to mind the old adage “fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me”.

Well, when you party platform is ~60 pages long and contrary to itself (’We believe in the 5th...except when it comes to a ‘safety net of SS/Medicare’, the 9th/10th...as long as it’s not ‘infrastructure spending’, DoEd, etc.), what else do you expect?

Their bread is (self) buttered (nice, gig, if you can get it) regardless of their stance/time in office.

It’s not “fool me twice”: It’s fool me hundreds of times now.
