I really think that the candidates should give OANN a shot on hosting a debate.

bingo! They have replaced FOX to me. They also have some nice looking female eye candy on the network. Lilith Fifield is a hot little number!

If Fox wanted to avoid a repeat performance of the first Fox debate and the last CNBC debate, they’d get their most conservative people for this. I could see Stuart Varney and Lou Dobbs up to the task even though I still view Dobbs as an establishment type of guy even though every time I hear him he says the right stuff. Hell, I’d even be ok with the pompous Hannity in the mix as well.

Will It Be Different...should be different!

At 3 PM on Thursday the 5th, based upon the polling data complied on RCP, and based upon the reported invitation criteria (>/= 2.5% from 4 most recent national polls) from Fox Business News, it looks like the main event may only have 8 candidates, with Huck and Krispy Kreme missing the cut.

In addition, based upon the criteria for the kiddie table event, Pataki, Gilmore, and Linda Grahamnesty would likely miss the warm-up undercard, leaving Huck, Krispy, Santorum, and Jindal to duke it out.

NOTE: Currently, the 4 most recent polls are from Fox, Quinnipiac, NBC/WSJ, and IBD/TIP. Fox could conceivably throw out the IBD poll and reach down to an earlier network poll to rescue Huck and Krispy?

Invitations will be announced this evening on Lou Dobbs FBN show starting at 7 PM.
