The fact that about 55% of the Republican presidential primary voters are leaning toward non-politicians is unprecedented and astonishing. It also reflects the depth of the Republican primary voters' anger toward the GOP --not just the GOPe.
With three months to go until the first primary, there is little reason to believe that this mindset will change.
