Russia's deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday that no country could use military force in Syria without first securing the agreement of the Syrian government, the TASS news agency reported.

TASS said Ryabkov was responding to a question about the prospect of the United States launching a ground operation in Syria.

"The question of using military force in any form without the agreement of Damascus is for us unacceptable," it quoted him as saying.

Nothing the US does makes sense anymore. I like to see that clarity and intelligence still exists on the planet, even in Moscow. Sorry.

CNBC just reported on a Reuters story that the Obama Administration was about to announce the deployment of US special forces to Syria to fight ISIS. I wonder if that is the case or are they going to help the alleged moderate rebels to fight Assad and Russia? We could quickly get to Russian planes bombing US forces.

So we get even closer to a direct confrontation between US troops and Russians and their proxies. Why can’t we all just work together to rid the planet of the Jihadist scourge and confine Islam to the Arabian peninsula? Fourteen more months of this madness.

Agreed. The US still wants Assad out and will risk world war to do so. I don’t understand this entirely, but it probably has to do with a few oligarchs in a back room.

I guess if you are going to join a civil war, you can join the legitimate government (whether you like it or not, Assad is the legit government.)

Or you can join the rebels against the legitimate government. Whether they are good or bad.

We have done it a few times.

What would we have said and done if the other side took up arms against our guys?

WW III Here we come—and this time it will be a confederation of enemies: Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and maybe others.

You are correct.

It is Assad’s call.

You want to stop the refugees? Close their borders.

Hand out weapons to the 18-40 year old men running like cowards.

Send them back.

One of the things I read recently is that our military is a little surprised at how much better the Russian stuff has improved.

And I do not think even Bibi wants to take on their SAMs.

Math scores slipped for fourth and eighth graders over the last two years, and reading grades were not much better, flat for fourth graders and lower for eighth graders, according to the 2015 Nation's Report Card.

Putin can read. He knows our collective national IQ is on a downward trajectory. We are being defeated from within. Oh and so does China.

Putin and the New Soviet Union is pushing the pu$$y in the White House around like the big bully does the small kid on the block. Obama has given every military advantage we had in the middle east. 40-50 years and trillions upon trillions upon trillions have been poured into that area and it has all come to waste. Our current and ex-prez Jimmy Carter have jumped on the muzzie bandwagon and hundreds to thousands of US military people gave their lives over there, for nothing it seems. America is a total, unadulterated joke. Thanks to the progressives and neocons of the RINO party.

“Somehow, I doubt that Bibi gives a rat’s ass what the “Syrian government” thinks or wants. Let’s see what Putin can do about it if Israel goes in and bombs some artillery sites “

Putin and Bibi have staff level coordination and are sharing intel. They already made an agreement on how it proceeds if Israel needs to hit Hezbollah. Most people there know who the good guys are, and it ain’t us.

“Fourteen more months of this madness.”

Not necessarily. As near as I can tell Cruz, Hillary, Fiorina, Christie, Rubio, Jeb, and many others fully support expanding the US war in Syria. All have embraced no fly zones, US vs Russian dogfights, removing Assad, weapons for Syrian rebels, Turkey as an ally, etc,, ad nauseum.

Only Trump has not expressed the slightest desire to expand this unjustified war.

“Putin and the New Soviet Union is pushing the pu$$y in the White House around like the big bully does the small kid on the block.”

Time to face facts, we have become the bully nation and some decent kid has stood up to the bully.

We are now exactly what the USSR was in the 60s and 70s. Exporting bankster, gay, and atheist revolution and creating turmoil and misery around the planet in our revolutionary zeal.
