'Shell-shocked' CNBC staffers had long flight home
CNN ^ | 10/30/15 | Brian Stelter

For the CNBC employees who boarded a charter plane right after Wednesday's bruising GOP debate, the redeye flight was physically smooth but emotionally turbulent.

People were exhausted, but also rattled and worried. "We were shell-shocked," one source said.

The poor reviews were piling up - declaring CNBC the biggest loser of the night - and the moderators Carl Quintanilla and Becky Quick knew more would be published by the time the flight landed in New York. So for some flyers, it was a sleepless night. But there was some laughter and some liquor to lighten the mood - and some speculation about how high the ratings would be.

-snip-

At CNBC's sister news outlets MSNBC and NBC News, producers were advised not to "pile on" the moderator controversy, according to people there.

'Shell-shocked' CNBC staffers had long flight home

If there was any justice, they and the rest of the media minions would be cowering in fear from the righteous anger of voters who have been effectively disenfranchised by their deliberate propagandizing for Democrats.

“But some of the same employees also said they were proud that the moderators had pointedly challenged the GOP candidates and potentially changed the course of the presidential race.”

That's just the point. Their job is not to change the course of the race. Their job is to get the facts and report those facts. The candidates are the stars of the event, not the journalists. They don't seem to grasp that concept. That's why these debates continue to be major failures.

Being mentally challenged leaves them "'Shell-shocked'"?

What cloistured world do they live in?

Seems like a dose of reality is in order.

CNBC talking heads just more turds in the NBC inventory.

MSNBC...now CNBC...

NBC is nothing but a septic tank.

They really hate Ted Cruz, now.

Yes, they do hate him more than they hated him before; they have "Pharaoh's Blindness". Watch them double-down on him in the future! I hope they do, it means more air time for him; and he does not have to do interviews to get it (but I think he will accept interviews). Either way, he will do good, and very possibly get higher in the poles.

Masochism much?

There is no intelligent reason for Democrat candidates to be privileged to enjoy a debate in a shelter with goose down podiums, exchanging kudos with a panel of sycophants, on sycophant filled networks, never on FOX (although FOX is leading the pack for the Establishment).

A love fest between the Democrat panelists and candidates— a firing squad for Republicans.

Perhaps you could explain why the RNC approves our candidates for the meat grinder, enduring a panel of New York Marxists, who will never vote for Republicans, and despise everything we stand for, even our existence.

The mainstream media has to relish their Super PAC status they have with the Democrat Party of Marx, what with being given free rein to cause irreversible harm to the Republican Party and their field of candidates.

What’s the problem?

We should prove our own candidates, thank you very much, and stop punishing our own, risking our chances to win, and indulging the political Left, who is set on damaging our comraderie and morale, and relating Republican candidates policy proposals to some Lefty manufactured scandal.

Buy a clue.

They are not ashamed about what they did. They are ashamed what they did didn’t work.

THAT is exactly right.

“(Rebecca Quick] is currently married to an executive producer of Squawk Box,[3] Matt Quayle (2008–present).

It was CNBC’s questions/agenda.

Their goal is to trash the candidates so they can promote their hand-picked candidate from the ashes.

To the East Coast we in fly over country are insignificant if we exist in their minds at all.

We here in fly over country or we from fly over forget a reality that was brought back to me yesterday in a conversation with an East coast transplant colleague.

We were reminiscing about times 35 years or so ago when I was running rigs in Oklahoma and he was a trainee for a drilling contractor. He recalled his 6 weeks there working in an equipment yard for familiarization and weeding out. He is from Boston of all things. How he came to the oilfield is another story. He had never been away from the East coast in his life. Oklahoma was a shocker to him. Two things he said illustrate the gulf between us in fly over country and at least much of the East coast.

“We had only a paltry amount of money and the only place to eat in the small town was a bar that had cheeseburgers, that’s all. I did not recognize a single song on the juke box.”

“My image of the United States was the East Coast, the Mississippi River and California. I did not even consider anything in between, not at all.”

This is a smart guy and a pretty decent fellow.

Yes. That is ALWAYS their (MSM’s) agenda. The RNC’s Renta Prius is, unfortunately, in on it with them :(

Becky declared at the beginning of the debate that they were there to “hire” the candidates for the next President. What bull****. Sorry Becky, noone made you our hiring squad. We the people can somehow muddle through and hire our own guy without your 2 cents.
