It would have been a lot funnier if someone had shot the son-of-a-b*tch.
This says a lot about British men that no one tackled him and smashed his head into the concrete.
Silly Brits. Try that in Texas.
And Turkey complains their tourist economy is tanking.
Yes I think that would not go down the same way in Texas.
If he approached a six hear old around me, he would be hospitalized....
They are trying to prove that they are "oh so" understanding, non-discriminating, inclusive and multicultural.
Not really. The 2.4 million Brits who go to Turkey each year (there are many more Germans and Russians) go because the beach resorts on the Mediterranean coast are heavily promoted by travel agencies as a cheap and accessible package destination, taking the overflow from the overcrowded resorts further West in the Med. Most who go on these trips are uninterested and unbothered by the nature of the countries where the beaches happen to be and the political context - it's just a beach. Thailand etc much the same.
I saw a group of people dressed as zombies getting arrested in a WalMart parking lot last week for scaring shoppers as an ad for a local haunted house. Stupid should hurt.
Brits going to Turkey for holiday? Darwin award candidates. Westerners that go to predominately Muslim countries by choice are being very foolish.
The coast of turkey has been a vacation spot for a very long time. It isn’t any more nutty than people going to Mexico for vacation.
Because its a beautiful country, with interesting history and shockingly most Turks are decent, friendly people.
Nearly 2.5m of us silly Limeys and Micks go there on holiday, with no problems other than sunburn, and have done for nearly 50 years.
I've read that some snow made it thru the summer and fall in the Scottish highlands. I hope you will kept us inform on how Global Warming is effecting Scotland (my ancestors' home, 3 of my 4 grand parents came from Scotland :) )
Not unusual. Snow patches linger in the Northern Corries of the Cairngorms and some other locations throughout most summers. Rather more unusually, Winterhighland (the Scottish snowsports website) reports a skiable summer patch this year in the Glencoe ski area in the warmer west, where the snow usually arrives later and clears earlier.
Lord o' mercy. The mental hoops people jump through.
Oops. Is this thing still on? Heh, heh. Heh
thanks for the report, hope to hear more this winter/spring.
True. Most Brits are aware of how Turkey might be.
LOL, will do. Any questions on Scotland and the UK, don’t be slow to ask. Will be happy to answer.
You even get good skiing in the Lowlands, down in Galloway.
