Correct, which makes her a false prophet.
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)...
“The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.” (Job 33:4)
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:8).
To be absent from the body is to die, to depart out of this world, during which time the soul is disembodied, and exists in a separate state; not in a state of inactivity and sleep, but one of enjoying being in the very presence of God, Jesus the Christ! Believers will be praising God, believing and waiting for the resurrection of the body, when both (new glorified body + soul) will be united together again. And after that there will be no more absence, neither from the body, nor from the Lord!
That’s an interesting verse to be sure. Then again there are the verse that say the dead know not anything. If their souls were with the Lord, that would seem a conflict.
In matters such as this, I don’t concern myself.
It’s the matters of my responsibility and conviction that are of importance.
To me...
But really you have to admit nobody nowadays gives a sh*t about sunday.
