The important point I don’t see discussed much is that it is a psychological influence for the would-be shooter:
If the shooter says to themselves “Hmmm, there might be people with guns there so I should pick another location where they don’t carry guns.” then the first location is safer.
To me that is a powerful argument for concealed carry. Otherwise the shooter thinks, oh I’ll just go to a school or a theater where no-one has a gun.
We can only hope and pray that the next economic downturn takes the Times with it!

The New York Times was born jumping the shark, and they have always been a propaganda outlet for communists. In the 1940's, Walter Durante lied about the Holodome and the GULAG in the Soviet Union. He was given awards for his lies.

Won't happen. Did PRAVDA go down during Soviet downturns? Did Isvestia? Did TASS?
Propaganda outlets will survive, always, on tyranny's largesse.
