Does the media filter care if politicians are honest???
In the case of Republicans, the media absolutely care and will go on crusades, such as Watergate, to drive the point home.
In the case of Democrats, since the media are an arm of the Democrat party, not so much. They will never go into Watergate investigative reporter mode on a Democrat. In the case of a Democrat, the honesty factor doesn’t exist.
By and large Democratic voters do not believe in right or wrong, only ‘shades of grey’. But that means they are detached from all morality and lying is an offense against morality. It follows that they are not offended at all by lying.
Coupled with the “the end justifies the means” mentality
If you buy it, it breaks, usually when it would have been convenient if it had stayed intact and permitted you to finish the task at hand.
Politicians are a lot like that. They might look good, smooth, well finished, like they will get the job done. When the task is at hand, they let you down.
You knew it going in.
That said, I wouldn't buy a used car from any of them.

I think Democrats are embracing the big lie... they realize that lying has been essentially for getting Obama elected twice and now it’s Hillary’s turn. She’s expert at it and it will make her a more effective president when warding off the Republican Congress. We’ve sunk this low.

A liar lies to steal something from you that you would not otherwise give them. Things like your support and affection, your vote, your admiration, your respect and, ironically, your trust.
Very similarly, if a politician will cheat on their spouse or lie to them, they will lie to you and steal from you the taxpayer without hesitation.
I don’t care if people have come to expect politicians to lie, it disqualifies them for my vote if I know it.
We Conservatives sit around and yammer about how stupid the Democrat voters are.
Well, then take advantage of them.
The Democrat leaders take advantage of that stupidity, so why shouldn’t everyone else?
I assert that democrats PREFER their politicians to be corrupt - they think they are more “effective”,
sticking it to conservatives (Christians).

Lies, what lies? The GOP has spent millions of dollars, and months of time to come up with provable lies. All it shows is that the GOP can’t come up with lies. The GOP needs some issues to beat the Democrats, time to campaign on some issues to beat the democrats. The middle class is waiting.

Because they know she will expand the welfare state, no matter what else she says or does. And they don't mind giving up freedoms here or there that they never exercise anyway, as long a little more government cash might be coming their way.
