So to the important point, then....if the GOP nominates a candidate whom we are excited about, and the Dems nominate someone they are luke warm about (the exact inverse of 2008), then, the GOP actually has a chance.
Which would be an amazing change from days past....

One way to look at it. But if you study his past positions, Donald Trump is basically the same as Mitt Romney. More style and fight, but what we get is Romney with a backbone.
There is going to be major disappointment. But it may be the best that this dumbed down electorate is capable of electing.
