Ben Carson brushed off Donald Trump’s mockery of his “low energy” on Meet the Press this morning.
BEN CARSON: Everybody has their own personality. If you like to do that, that’s fine. That’s not who I am. And I don’t get into the mud pit. And I’m not going to be talking about people. I will tell you, in terms of energy, I’m not sure there’s anybody else running who’s spent 18 or 20 hours intently operating on somebody.
CHUCK TODD: Do you think people mistake your soft-spoken [style] with a lack of energy?
CARSON (in just about the calmest, softest voice imaginable): I think so. I have plenty of energy. I do have a tendency to be relaxed. I wasn’t always like that! There was a time when I was very volatile, but I changed.

Trump has been going just about non-stop since he got in. I can only imagine what he would be able to accomplish, with his drive. Amazing.

If Carson were a Democrat, the media would not describe him in this manner. Instead, they would be calling him "laid back" or "smooth" or "cool."
Whatever his great achievements, Carson cannot do this. While not entirely on a policy basis, on a character basis he reminds me of "Silent Cal" Coolidge.
So now being methodical is to be confused with high energy? Football is high energy, chess is methodical.
Carson spends 20 hours on his feet doing surgery.
Trump spends 3 hours on his feet in a debate forum for three hours, mostly listening to others drone on.
Trump starts to fade out in hour 3, demands “No more 3-hour debates!”
Who’s low-energy now?
Like they do with “no drama Obama”
Dr Carson worked in an intense environment, with a complete ‘support staff’ & excellent conditions. But it isn’t clear if he did so each & every day.
Trump is running his businesses & working the campaign trail every day.
As for doing something for 20 hours-———I have ridden 100 mile endurance horseback rides, as have MANY others in this country & around the world. I rode for anywhere from 19 hours to 22 hours in completing these events.
I also rode 2 day-—3 day—4 day—& 5 day events for 50 miles a day. 100 miles in 2 days, 150 miles in 3 days, 200 miles in 4 days & 250 miles in 5 days. Stamina doesn’t just happen in an operating room. These events were not in controlled conditions—old pioneer trails—snow—winds—blowing sand—rain—you name it. Had a crew at intervals of about 20-25 miles. Otherwise—out there following a marked trails & responsible for yourself AND your horse.
I didn’t even begin this sport until I was 46 years old. BTW- Women excel at this sport.
Ben - if you are on the defense, you aren’t on offence. Trump has Ben spending his tine denying Trump’s charges. Not a winning strategy.
He doesn't fit the mainstream media's stereotype of how a black candidate should act.
There was an article where he says that he once almost hit his mother with a hammer....makes me think twice. Would never vote for him....just based on that alone.
Trump continues to show his tactical targeting which puts the other guy on defense.
Carson is a decent guy but Trump is out to win it. Which means he’s going to go after every thing he can to undermine the competition, starting with his neutralization of the MSM control by effectively muzzling Megyn Kelly. Followed by relentless lawfare against “news” organizations who attempted to breach contracts with him on other fronts.
It may not be pretty but this is the way the Rats play, and the only way to win against them.

Carson is a super nice guy, buy he’s not presidential in any way shape or form. NOne of these chumps are, except for Trump.
