I agree. Let’s remember that Carson brought up Trump’s religious beliefs a month or so ago too, so this isn’t exactly out of the blue.
I didn’t see Trump’s comments today to be anti-SDA, but I may have missed it’s focus a bit.
Actually, I don’t have a point.
I heard it when he said and it didn’t mean a thing to me.
Focusing on it now, I feel the same way.
I took the remark differently than you did, which I explained in my Reply to your Post. Just my opinion.
I never said that Trump was “thinking out loud”, that is your opinion. You don’t get ahead by giving your Competition a leg up by telling them your strategy.
If “he can’t help himself” as you state, then he will give up the ghost at some point. If he does, so be it.
I just don’t buy your Premise.
We are a Year away from the General Election and anything can happen to any Candidate out there, not just Trump.
Low energy is apt for the passion he brings into the discussion. Where Trump is incendiary, Carson is comatose.
This is nothing about the brilliant work the man has done as a brain surgeon.
At the time, when I saw the speech, his comment about Carson being a Seventh Day Adventist didn’t come across to me as a swipe. I’ll watch it again, but my first impression was not that he was criticizing him for it.
This is Donald Trump’s Achilles heel. He seems driven to say demeaning things about his opponents.
I wonder if he ever participated in any athletic events as a kid. If so, he should have learned how to accept the ups and downs of competition. I agree with others on this thread. His constant, nasty statements about others while admiring himself, is growing old and thin.
It is such a shame that he has not overcome this bad, bad, bad habit. He has the energy and the intelligence to become a great President if not for this moral weakness.
